London buses love life... Though I miss the old Routemasters, the new ones will never be anywhere near as good as the originals...
This post is made of 90% pure recycled sarcasm...

My granddad was a bus driver at one point.
Most of the drivers are friendly and cheerful as well. Though, there was one driver a couple of weeks ago...
Got on at Thorpe Park. He nearly went off without me as it was. Seems to think we were in a game of Burnout to be honest. Anyway, woman rings the bell to get off outside the tattoo shop in Chertsey. She gets up and starts walking. Goes straight past the stop. Stops at Sainsburys. Okay, it's not THAT far of a distance, but it is the principle after all. What if that woman had been elderly? Anyway, she politely tells him there was a stop to which he replies "Well, I can't stop at all the stops now, can I?" "No need to be rude; I was just saying." "I wasn't being rude, just f**k off!" Now the woman is off the bus at this point, but she puts her arm in the bus to say something, and the driver just closes the door, which easily could have caught her arm. Drives off speedily. Bell rings again, this time a gentlemen in his 50s/60s. Also is my stop. Gentleman stands up, and as the driver goes round a corner, gentleman loses balance and holds onto the railing. As we're leaving, gentleman says "What do you think this is, a racing car!?" "Oh yeah, brand new F1 car and I'm Michael f**king Hunt!" (Is he a F1 driver or something - I really have no clue?
So yeah, one bad incident. But yeah, buses are good fun. Sure, not a great interest in them (trains are MUCH more interesting

I hate how people (usually girls) stare when I get on the bus after work. Yes my knees on my jeans are dirty and cat-hairy, yes I look worn out and sweaty and possibly stink of rubber gloves, I work at a cattery!
The other day the bus was 25 minutes late
Other than that, the buses round here are fine, infact they are better here (more services/more frequent) in a village, than in Horley, a town. How exciting. Lol.
"Normal" is just a setting on the washing machine.
Do you really want to be a setting on the washing machine?
If you do, wouldn't you rather be the spin cycle?
