Thorpe inst the only park with music so heres place to discuss Chessingtons ride music! Personally I very much like it, its clear from the equipment they dont have half the buget what thorpe do but seem to pull it off alot better IMO.

Kissing in public dont bother me in the slightest and if it did I would be a bit 2 faced!

Yea after looking at it again that makes sense, the bit what dont make sense to me is evacuating the back first!

It certianly seems more popular than other smaller rides, and I have more than once heard children coming off mimicking the announcements with the whole dudes/awsome thing so I guess they must like it.. Sure it looks better in the plans but it could be worse, and I'm sure next year we will see more improvements to its presentation too.I'm not quite sure what people were expecting from Fish, thorpe style there rides more than theme, fish was never going to be an exception to this.

When you watch the video it sounds like the lift hill powering up, if that is the case its terrible there are not things in place to make it impossible for anyone to restart the ride till the rides fully evacuated imo

Actually it has a scrolling board now And it obviously isnt dead if they have bought it back, thorpe lacks things for guests under 1.4 and fish fills that gap perfectly and cheaply.

Yea hopfully it wont be too long.. but with the amount of problems at the moment I would think that is a very low priority..

No they have simply removed the dispatch track all togeather now..

Why would you consider fish as a joke may I ask, with it picking up 40 minute q's, it cant be that much of a joke to everyone can it?

Its not ignored at thorpe but ive had more trips to thorpe this year with out stealth breaking down all day than I have to cwoa with fury..

I do like fury but I think its very over hyped and majorly depends on the weight of your car as to if you get a good or crap ride, that and I cant think of a trip to chessington where I havent seen it break down atleast once! Personally would much rather a ride on rattlesnake!

Had a couple of totally awsome bubble rides recently! Managed to drench everyone in the boat by putting hands in the fountains! Second time they tried to stop me but it didn't work and was just as wet! I also think it smells nice!

Just gota remember fairs go through exactly the same checks as rides at any uk theme park do, if not more!

Well heres a place to discuss the wonderful fairs we have!Earlier this evening was at a fair, didnt have that much but 2 rides stood out, firstly the orbiter was a totally amazing very fun and very forcfull! But secondly a Fabbri Top Spin, I thought this totaly amazing, especially compared to ripsaw/ramesis! Whist the fabbri one is smaller it is alot more comfortable and intense, I can honestly say for 99% of the ride I was not touching the seat, totally awesome!

Discuss the amazing rattlesnake here! I dont have much to say apart from IMO it is the most fun / best ride at the park! =] Its a bumpy ride!

Whilst I think tomb is good, I personally prefure everything about dual, to me its a better themed and much faster paced ride which I like, also love the orange targets!

I guess it all depends on alot of things, the first one being what merlin actually want from the parks, with the infilling thorpe has enormous potential to become a huge theme park and what with lax planning laws around the area it certainly wouldn't be hard for thorpe to be the park on everyone's mind.. on the other hand they may well want to keep things how it is and keep alton top of the pile with tp/cwoa underneath.

^^ Totaly agree, I dont know whats gone so wrong over the past few years but they seem to take one step forward and 2 steps back.

The old detonator was great, really bought atmosphere to the q/ride what has just totally gone now unfortunately.

Id like to know what on earth is going on with music at the park, its dreadful at the moment and seems to get worse every trip, the biggest annoyance is still that WWTP stealth side is on a short loop meaning songs get irritating hearing them 2/3 times a day, and when in the queue when a good song finally comes on the whole q line audio cuts out, and then when arriving next to the station its impossible to talk due to the speakers being so loud.
