Perhaps leaning more towards the &Roamers part....
Would be interesting to know how these awards are decided though is it based on voting or a panel.

Also just want to say thank you to the teams of meets past. The days whereby you could get tours of rollercoasters and ERT sessions for the big old price of £0!  some great memories 

Playground not yet open, will not be visiting on Wednesday 27th April.

From an operations perspective, I’d say good. Every coaster except for Colossus has been constantly running two trains.
 
The park feels fresh in areas, I’d say each area has had something done to it to make it a little bit fresher. 
 
The park and management team seem to be very aware of what people want.
They are pushing their TikTok which is working. They listened (I can’t confirm) to comments on Twitter saying about how bad the TikTok board was and removed it. They’ve also returned the old swarm audio after complaints…
 
 
The Roaming entertainment team have found their feet. The Thrillmakers seem to fit the Thorpe brand, however I notice they are almost always dancing with young children…. The park which has just lost two children's rides.
 
High Striker is ugly from the back and should have been placed against a wall or a less prominent view from the dome.
The theme suits the area and the soundtrack which plays is pretty good.
 
They are appealing to enthusiasts by releasing special pins such as a loggers leap pin and selling coaster climbs. Again a good thing, they are quite an open park compared to Alton Towers.
 
The new events seems like they could have a lot of thought put into them. They are really pushing the events on the app and on the park trying to get people to return for the events. 
 
TL:DR
Very positive start, the park is listening and responding. Few issues to iron out but generally most are out of the parks control and more about Merlin.

Thorpe usually get a nomination or two every year, but to hit five is impressive. Wouldn't be surprised to see them get at least one award too..

We will look into potentially meeting up in the summer time and possibly Fright Nights, early on in the event.
 
Any meets we plan will be posted in similar fashion to before. Keep an eye out in the next month or two.

Hi, what's the new attraction for 2022? I need a reason to get my friends to go with me however they only like, world's firsts, television and film IP's or a new never before done flat ride. Are we getting any of these?

The documentary is excellent, however something doesn’t sit right with me here you shouldn’t be continuing to make fright night construction updates if you’re actively involved in the product / have signed NDAS despite saying it’s all speculation.
 
it’s also a great documentary however I hope they were paid industry rates rather than the mares rates Thorpe would be happy to give out which could lead to toxic relationships further down the line.

Bants aside, looking forward to this, as Jack & Co. clearly have a passion for what they do and for theme parks. I just sincerely hope they are remunerated accordingly and fairly by Merlin because credit where credit is due, their promos and videos that have been commissioned are pretty darn good quality.

Perhaps this is just me overacting, however I'm starting to feel like themeparks really aren't being inclusive to taller people. A 6'4 height limit for the sake of a near miss. Now I'm 6'8 and as a result can't fit on many rides but this just feels unfair at this point....

That is a sound suggestion that makes a lot of sense… I didn’t think of that.

I haven’t ridden the ride yet, I hope to in March. But perhaps it’s for accessibility reasons and to prevent sensory overloads although a flying cinema probably already does that.

Work on removing platform 15 looks to have started. The front of the train has been removed along with the fake light. 
 
towards the end of platform 15 the fake train setup as also been deconstructed.
