Wow never thought id see the day people moan when the park are ADDING MORE theming to what is already the best themed ride in the park...

I don't think they have, as all of my 5 visits to Thorpe in 2012 have had their "End of Day" music play at the end of the day. It did play everywhere across the park including the dome, bridge and even the entrance. Although, I had noticed occasionally that some days in 2011 it wasn't being played...
On topic, there are 5 things I'd like to see returned/played this year:
    1) Vortex's Theme - Haven't heard this properly for literally 2 years, so would be great for it to return.
    2) Colossus' Plaza - Again, the speakers through Colossus' inversions and plaza have been silent for almost 2 years as well.
    3) Nemesis Inferno's Dispatch theme - Can't see why not?
    4) Saw: The Ride's Queue-line audio - Haven't heard this very well since 2010, as the speakers have been pretty much silent all-year round.
    5) Entrance Theme - I'm tired of hearing chart music at Thorpe's entrance now, so much so that I've almost forgotten what Thorpe's entrance theme actually sounds like.
Even though the chart music probably won't disappear at the entrance, I suppose we can hope.

I'm starting to think that anyone who suggests Thorpe get a TopSpin should be banned for a week...

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but after looking at Thorpe Park's X:\ No Way Out web page, it has been changed a little bit, which could possibly imply that X is indeed going to run forwards this year.

Below are 2 screenshots of the ride's description (1st from late January and the 2nd today):

    Late January 2013:

    Today:

Although, below there is still a review mentioning about it going backwards so maybe Thorpe haven't updated all of it yet?

Honestly, I just can't understand the amount of hatred towards Slammer. Even though yes, it's impossible to deny that the reliability isn't good for the ride, I actually find the experience you get with it to be really fun and intense. It is one of the only rides today (up with Detonator and Oblivion) that still genuinely gets me really nervous every time I queue/ride it, which makes it a lot more fun.
I've been fortunate enough to visit almost every time since 2005 and get a ride on Slammer. The only exceptions I've had where the ride was shut all day was during Fright Nights 2010/2011.
But to me, even though it might not be the most popular ride at Thorpe and has bad reliability, it shouldn't be hated just because of the amount of downtime it receives. If the hatred was targeted more towards the experience with Slammer, that I can understand, but definitely not just the downtime.
Others have different experiences with Slammer to me, but I actually enjoy the ride and hope it stays for the next several years.

This has got me very angry, the Swarm was perfectly good, if they had done nothing to and not spent a penny, there would still be huge queues, they would still sell lots of fast tracks and people we will love the ride.
But they have wasted money on a ride which simply does not need any money spending on it, but they are happy for the rest of the park to rot away, seriously am I missing something here...

    WE'RE RUINING SWARM WOOO!
Apparently the Batman going backwards is lasting a weekend... Which is weird... So how long will this go on for until Thorpe realise that it closing every 5 minutes due to vomit is not a worthwhile experience? [/cynicism]

When you look at these clues and the recent images by Thorpe Park of all the rides in the recent snow-fall, it has got to be X:\No Way Out. Here are a few reasons why I think it has to be X:
    1) X is in such a dire state and Thorpe Park knows it. If any ride in the park is in desperate need of a re-fresh, it's X. So why would they need to adjust The Swarm when it's only 1 year old, compared to X being 17 years old? It just doesn't make any sense to me to change a ride that is still categorized as 'new' at a theme park.
    2) A recent image of the Swarm's train in the brake run in the snow showed no possible evidence that the back seats have been reversed. If they had (or will in the future) Thorpe wouldn't release any recent images with the public would they?
    3) Again, regarding the recent images by Thorpe, has anyone noticed they're showing lots of photos of all of the other rides and areas across the park in the snow (including The Swarm), but not 1 of them has X's building in view? Maybe there's some work going on the inside/outside of X's building and Thorpe are hiding it from us.
If X:\No Way Out remains the same for 2013 and it is indeed The Swarm's seats being reversed, I'll be disappointed unfortunately.

"Thorpe thank you for trying to get your ride working, regardless of how poor the quality of it is"
"Thorpe, well done for being commited to your attraction"
    "Thorpe your ride is crap"
How about the positivity Kabz instead of the negative attitude all the time, it's really getting tyring.

I don't want to be a grammar nazi or ought, but it amuses me that this conjures up an image of actually riding on a pile of sh!t, as that is what it says.
There are plenty of steamier turds at Thorpe than Slammer. I love having something so unique there and am glad they've put the effort in to get it going again.

My problems with the chart music being played in Lost City are in 3 parts:
    1) It detracts the theming - As mentioned above, kills the atmosphere and build-up for the rides.
    2) Plays over the rides' theme music - If you listen carefully, you can hear the chart music being played over Vortex/Rush/Quantum's music, which makes it worse than just hearing the chart music on it's own.
    3) Why Lost City? - It don't understand why they play it only in Lost City, Neptune's Beach (and parts of Canada Creek) and nowhere else in the park. Can Thorpe make their mind up if they are going for themed or chart music park-wide?
So, I'm not in favour for this decision to play chart music in Lost City for one simple reason: It makes no sense.
