For what it's worth, Jack Silkstone has said he did not create the new logo.
interesting, the way he was posting it on X made it look like his portfolio. -

I bet the company who they hired are laughing so much right now, I can see the conversation going on in their HQ.
’Yep, they paid us £100,000 to make their new logo and guess what, I went onto google, searched up fancy font and wrote out Thorpe Park. You’ll never guess what happened too, they were happy with it!’
In all seriousness what the hell is that though. I could have done the same in photoshop in 10 mins. I like the idea of the change in vibe of the park, and was happy with the direction thorpe park were taking, but this. Nope.
Company they hired? Let’s be real, this is just another Jack Silkstone mates rate. Pay budget rates get budget results. -

Chessington have announced plans to build a new land themed around the Amazon Rainforest. The land will feature a launch rollercoaster as well as two children’s rides!
Online consultation has started regarding the land with the new rollercoaster being described:
Guests will be propelled on a car through banks and turns before coming to a dead end on the track adjacent to a themed structure on the southern part of the site. The car will then be propelled along the same route back to the station located on the north east part of the site. A hard standing ride maintenance area is to be provided adjacent to the ride station.
The exact details of the proposed children’s rides are to be confirmed but they will comprise two low-level rides similar in character to Seastorm and Jungle Bus currently at the Resort.

Little update on what's coming to the site:
Live Queue Times
A new live queue times feature is launching allowing you to see the queues from home at all of the park's in the UK. There will also be a section to see if fast track is currently available (sorry haters)! This should all be up in the next couple of weeks ready for peak season.
Podcast
We will be launching a weekly podcast with lots of special guests lined up from theme parks, manufacturers and other people in the Attraction world!

Always thought G-Shock watches were overpriced for something that looks very cheap.

Has anyone else herd that Bradley Beaver and Beaver Creek may return to the Plesure Beach after a decades absence.
I’ve heard that they’re going to be in terror tomb when it reopens at chessington this year! -
Just need IMAscore to do the soundtrack and then it might be bearable

Who else other than myself thinks that the names of the rides within The Rainforest are dull and boring? Personally if I was put in charge of choosing the name of the rides within The Rainforest I would have chosen the following.
I would have called the Jungle Rangers- Jungle Jeeps Rainforest Safari!
I would have called River Rafts-Cascading Crocodiles!
Finally I would have called Treetop Hoppers-Rainforest Jump!
Can you please give me your opinions on the names Chessington chose for the rides within the new Rainforest area. Don't misunderstand my views as I think that the Rainforest is a vast improvement on the old and worn out Toadies Crazy Cars that formally was located on this piece of land within Chessington. If Croc Drop is set to the standards as this Rainforest area and Land Of The Tigers it will be highly themed attraction. I personally love Drop Tower's and if themed to a high quality I can definitely say that Croc Drop will be one of or possibly even my favourite attraction in an English Theme Park.
Think your name ideas are awful. Nothing wrong with what they’re called now.

All the random fanpages using these allegations to plug their brand with empty "In light of recent events we would like to say..." posts is pretty sad. If people want to support others, use your platforms to retweet or share the stories themselves, comment support on the stories. Or post if you actually have something genuine to add, like some perspective, experience or if you were involved with the people the allegations are about.
I've seen more fanpages doing these empty gestures on Twitter than the actual allegations. "We at Theme Park World Attraction Guide Podcast are shocked by the allegations" well thank goodness for that, problem solved then.
On the whole, there has been a lot of real support from theme park fans which is great to see. With the nature of the allegations, retweeting and sharing the allegations can cause distress to others who have previously experienced sexual abuse.
On your point of ‘empty gestures’, I have personally spoken and offered my support to survivors.
With allegations coming out like we are witnessing, it’s important that we all work together to raise awareness and give our support to those who have been effected. As well as this it also should be remembered that those who have had allegations made against them as this can have a serious impact on their mental health despite the fact that they have hurt others.

Nobody, bar a few enthusiasts will go to a pop up theme park, Winter wonderland makes its money by packing out the beer tents. I'm sure it will be the same of purchasing a drinking session with limited capacity.
Think you are completely wrong on that one.
