The lack of write up for Chiapas disappoints me. I hate Log flumes but that ride does things to me that no other water ride does. 

Enthusiasts are their own worst enemies. As a group its all about being the first, the last, getting the most rides, being ahead of someone else. It becomes a massive competition, whether it's to get more coaster credits then anyone else or to go to the most parks. 
 
But thats only the negative aspects. Some of my best friends are ones that I grew up with in the earlier days of rollercoaster forums. So many from Thorpe Park Guide made the jump over to TPM when that forum closed down and a lot of coasters enthusiasts from those days, I worked with at Chessington.
 
Whilst things like the Bubbleworks last day or the time Inferno closed early and enthusiasts stormed guest services are a nasty aspect of being coaster geeks, the positives of being in a community far outweighs the negatives. 

Mostly agree when it comes to your rollercoaster reviews; spot on. EGF is a good example of a coaster that for me, rather unfairly had a bright spotlight placed on it and there's just no way it could ever live up to its reputation. I can't help that feel it only had onto the number one position on the Hawker poll because of a certain websites bullying ways and their massive influence over the poll. Funnily enough I prefer Silver Star, far easier to ride then Ge Force in terms of reliability, restraint system, capacity and operations.
I haven't been on Sky Scream, but I have done Superman at Discovery Kingdom and really liked it too. They're surprisingly fun rides considering how... cheap(?) they look. 
You've inspired me to look into revisiting, your photos do the park a lot of justice.

I've only been on two of the rides which have won awards. Suffice to say I agree to both awards, go Oz'Iris!

I always thoroughly enjoy your trip reports Ben and this is up there with the best of them. Only ride I can really comment on that you spoke about was Raptor, agree with your view. Even though it's the smallest, it definitely fits my idea of what a wing-rider should be. Ironically enough, its the only one that is all about the near-missed as every other one has gone for the height approach. 
 
I'm intrigued by the ten looper, although improved, still being far away from a perfect ride.

Thank you so much for the trip reports Ben. This park looks like the best of the bunch. I like the colourful entrance in your pics, kind of a 'it's a small world' vibe to it. Great pics and great write up as always.

I couldn't imagine spending eight days at any one theme park, let alone the pleasure beach so I suppose you deserve credit for your.. bravery. 
 
I don't agree with you on Streak. I love Big Dipper, Wildmouse and National but find the Streak so tiresome and could name a handful of better family roller coasters in the UK, many already at the Pleasure Beach. Also can't believe the Big One is your favourite roller coaster. That thought sends me flying.

Thanks! Whilst all 4 of the Asian Parks I visited were certainly quirky, this one had to be the most weird and wonderful. SuốI Tiên regularly features in "Top 10 Weirdest Theme Park" lists like this one - along with UK's Diggerland and Denmark's BonBon-Land...

Thanks so much for that Ben, a park that I've never actually heard of! Properly of the beaten track. Love the look of the rubbish Harry Potter ride. 

I really like this trip report, so thanks for that Matt. Even though it looks pretty much like a permanent funfair, for some reason I thought it looks really picturesque, particularly with the mountains surrounding the park.  =)

I thought this was going to be another generic Nemesis write up but it was a nice tounge in cheek attack on the other rides.

Like many, this was my first inverter and I believe, first B&M. First time riding, it was the most intense and exciting sensation I had ever experienced . Not that hard when all I had to compare it too was a wildmouse and the Dragon Coaster at LEGOLAND.
Nicely written and well summarized.
