It fits in with the Flying Fish being surfer themed although it is meant to be in a different area.

It's not part of an area, its not part of a theme, its just an addition to the attractions on offer for summer.

God, everything always has to tie in with another ride here, not always!

I reckon the charge will be sky high, something absurd like £5/£6

I thought it would be for the crash pad'ers

I think that it'd be used mostly by those who are staying at Thorpe Shark, to me it seems like great fun but you'd obviously get soaked, and as a female that's the worst thing that could happen really. I personally wouldn't want to walk around Thorpe for the rest of the day with wet hair etc. So I think this'll appeal more to those who'll be staying overnight- as they don't have to travel far to have a shower/dry off and stuff, or boys to be honest. But I'm sure Thorpe will still make quite a bit from it and it's a great addition for summer!

£25!!! twenty five whole pounds!!! they expect £25 on top of £50 to get in plus £3-70 on fastracks. I was expecting £6 max not £25. That is extortionate. I'm struggling to come to terms with that price it is so much. How long is it becuase if its until you fall off that is stupid. Even 5 minutes that is a stupid price.

well considering how bad the throughput is going to be, and say you get 5 minutes for £25, it's not too bad - like vertigo at oakwood.

Vertigo at Oakwood has always struck me as way overpriced considering that it's in a theme park that you have already paid entry for.

It's a shame as I really want to do Vertigo but can't justify the price!

Construction update -

It was testing today and at the back they have now added changing rooms. I'm guessing that they will supply a wet suit there seeing as a lot of people don't know it's there therefore won't bring a wet suit when going to Thorpe Park ;)

To be honest I don't think 25 is that bad considering the throughput that it has, but of course this is dependent on how long you get. Hopefully you will get a time limit, and for 25 I think the minimum you should get is around 10-15 mins. If it does last 10 -15 mins and you get to borrow a wet suit there I will probably give it a go and can see it doing quite well.
