Nothing in the plans. A reminder for everyone how the building should look roughly... (James' picture that CoasterDude posted is from a north-west view of the site). Of course, this is what separates ok from good, but I have no idea why Lego Billund were able to theme all sides of Ghost... Yet, we get this... Well, when fully grown trees are needed asap, they aren't planted as saplings, they're actually planted in as fully grown trees (often using cranes). But Thorpe are due a large ride, on the plans it states how this is basically their large ride in place of the postponed 2015 coaster. Marketing has begun this early. It's not going to be small. The building thing doesn't show anything really about the standard of project. Forbidden Journey has a massive bit of its show building unthemed as you enter the queue and from JP it's just a white shed. At least it's the same colour as X so fits in, shrubbery is being planted which will help and there will be a large themed section. SteveJ Posted August 21, 2015 Report Share Posted August 21, 2015 Why many show buildings are tucked away is because a lot of meticulous planning goes into disguising it effectively and choosing land that can easily conceal the building. There's no effort made here really even though it would be well in reach to create a facade or remodel the space for that side of the building, just the budget controllers don't want to spend money on things like that when they can spend it on PR, technology research and marketing instead. People will just put up with having a plastic backside of a building on show and coming out in the way of the path, because its not seen as necessary for UK parks to bother creating an immersive space anymore, when you can pour the work into building up hype and looking for the next attention-catching effect. In more news... they've done more foundations for the building!
