Hello people of THORPE PARK MANIA,

As we know Saw is a legendary franchise in the film industry and a description of the films The franchise revolves around John Kramer, also called the "Jigsaw Killer" or simply "Jigsaw". He was introduced briefly in Saw and developed in more detail in Saw II. Rather than killing his victims outright, Jigsaw traps them in situations that he calls "tests" or "games" to test their will to live through physical or psychological torture. Despite the fact that John was murdered in Saw III, the films continue to focus on the posthumous influence of the Jigsaw Killer and his apprentices by exploring his character via flashbacks.

Firstly it was revealed that the new film to carry on the legacy of the fresh start to the saw franchise was going to be 'Saw:Legacy' but then was later changed to Jigsaw. A trailer

was released today from Lionsgate films themself.

JIGSAW Trailer 2017 October 27th

My opinion on this trailer is that I found it was very unrealistic but the traps shown in the trailer have looked okay so far, I just hope that the film comes out to be a great film.

Whats your opinions on the trailer of Saw?.

Unrealistic how? The movies have always been gloriously over the top, this one just looks better combed for me. From the trailer anyway, it looks less... cultlike? More hollywood-y, like insidious 3 was for that series.

The traps look very samey which I think is a shame. Three different pulley traps which are basically the same just in different locations? I hope there's a reason for that. The sand trap looks sick though.

a description of the films is that a man called John Kramer known as Jigsaw himself hosts games for people

who have done wrong in there life and Jigsaw shows the meaning of being 'alive' and to try and give the victims a lesson; as far as we know the only survivors were Amanda but was

later shot in Saw IV whether she is alive we shall find out and also Dr Lawrence Gordon who was playing the game in the first film who appears again in the 7th. It appears as Jigsaw

has died of his diagnosis of cancer but all we could know he could be alive?. He left his wife incharge but she was killed by Dr. Hoffman who helped Jigsaw and she was set to kill him in

the 7th film but she was trapped by hoffman and in the last scene we see Lawrence Gordon with three others dressed in Jigsaws pig head assistants grabbing Dr Hoffman.

Yeh I'm not sure anyone will be watching this for a plot, as inspirational as the story clearly is.

Sadly I won't be available to help some suits at Lionsgate make more millions out of hot air, but well done for creating a formula so dumb that people around the world will pay to watch a gore version of the Crystal Maze over and over.   b   o   r   I   n   g

Where is that description from?  It is awfully written and highly inaccurate; doesn't give a reflection on how the story actually played!

I have changed the description, as you pointed out I did not see it at first but it is highly inaccurate, I cannot remember what website I got the description from, but I am now using the wiki to portray the film a bit more accurately then the past description.

The first Saw film was great..

It went downhill from there IMO..

There is some interesting plot twists in the first film or two, and generally some brain behind it..

then Saw 2 saw it become just mindless torture porn..

And I'd expect this to be no different..

meh.

I agree although I love the franchise, I loved the first saw film and yeah the rest was meh the only good things was the traps and

the plot twists.

Also theres been a rumour that this is a new beginning like to the start of a new series of the franchise so it is rumoured to be like

saw and be like JIGSAW, JIGSAW II, JIGSAW III, JIGSAW IV, JIGSAW V ect..

10/10

Best twist ever

But being all serious, this twist was by far the best part. It was so bad and doesn't make any sense. It was weird but I enjoyed laughing at how stupid it was sometimes. The decetvive parts were pretty bad but the traps were kinda entertaining, maybe. I keep emphasizing but the twist is so good. It was hilarious and broke the entire film but it was funny and worth it.

Oh yeah, I'm pretty certain that the acting was atrocious in most of the series.

Spoiler

And was anyone else disappointed when Jigsaw turned out to actually be dead?! I was so sad. He's the best thing about the franchise. Tobin Bell is awesome! When I saw him in the 2017 review I was so happy, he's that cool. And yet, the writers of Saw don't think so. Can Tobin Bel just return and take over for the new guy who's so forgettable I don't even know his name?

I’ve always been a hardcore Saw fan, and I absolutely couldn’t wait to go to the movies and watch it after almost eight years of waiting. Me and my dad went the other day, and we were NOT disappointed to say the least. It’s not the best in the franchise, that I gotta admit, but it was probably one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. The twist at the end took me by surprise, and I almost knew that there would be one, given the fact that the Saw franchise are basically famous for their twist endings; this was certaintly no exception. For all the people in this forum that haven’t seen it yet; it’s an awesome movie, at least in my opinion, that is. Of course, I had my fair share of questions when it was over, but as I analyzed it in my head the day after, I actually managed to set all pieces together one by one, and it actually ended up making sense (you can say I made my own Jigsaw puzzle, haha). So long story short, I would definitely recommend it. Once you become a part of Jigsaw’s games, there’s no turning back. I’ve already begun to pray for a 9th movie :P
