I'm no expert and haven't been yet mysel.

I think the nearest major airport is Hamburg and after that it's either a train, bus or taxi. It may be worth speaking to  someone who's visited as I know a few here went here recently.

Fly to Hamburg, S-Bahn to Hamburg Hbf, train to Sierksdorf (which might involve a change of trains) before walking the mile to the park...

Its that easy...

I think its nearly done... Maybe?

Also the park are getting a Gerst Skyfly next year, perhaps a secret EU law has been passed that demands all parks have one?

The new GIANT drop tower for this year (with rethemed area to Scotland for the Nessie and Roland creds) is starting to hit the skies:

The ride itself will be located within one of Nessie's helixes, with the coaster itself getting a brand new station (does mean the removal of the monster head on the brake run tunnel though :(?

Finally, there's now a vlog from the park:

A theme park doing a vlog for construction of a new ride you say? Is this basically just European law now?

Interested to see how dominant this is within the park. Bit worried it may look out of place (obvs same was said about Karnan, but that's easier to theme..)

Highlander Is a great addition, and thats coming from someone who doesn't really like drop towers! I rode it on 'super tilt' mode, this means it drops in the tilted position! The views are amazing and the drop is quite a rush, its probably not that intense/forceful, but it was forceful enough for me considering I was s**ting myself about the hight and the build up (they keep you up there for ages).

Some more photos from my trip of the newly themed Scottish area including the station for Nessie - a 39 year old Schwarzkopf coaster! So lovingly themed and accomplished, which will be added to and completed in the next couple of years.

Such a pretty park, I really do love this park, and can't help feeling in an alternative universe Thorpe could have ended up more like this (maritime exhibits, vintage attractions, gardens, architectural facades, family feel etc) They even have an onsite woodcarver and signwriter that you can look in on (last picture).

Hansa is fab, really do need to get back there soon...

Glad that they're still updating the old areas, wonder what's next on their list?

Do not ask for whom die Glocke tolls.....

Not surprised it's going, the throughput on it wouldn't last with the way Hansa are expanding...

Not surprised they are ditching their bell. It didn’t have a large throughput and apparently didn’t perform particularly well.

The new kids attractions look lovely though and am sure will make a fine addition to this charming park.

Hopefully Thorpe will buy the bell ride.

Better chance in the getting that than a major coaster though. Who’s placing bets?
