THE SWARM: Construction Updates

The concept renderings certain suggest they're different, but it's hardly a reliable source of information. I'd rather the trains had a different design to Raptor, mainly because I believe The Swarm can look more vicious than Raptor, with their huge teeth and bright red eyes. I've said before how I almost want the trains to be 'ugly', like it's baring it's teeth angrily. The red LED eyes would definitely be the cherry on the cake.

Just read the last two pages. Rather amusingGeo and RobD - The plane is this, that and the other, its fuselage IS TOO BIG.Everyone else in the coaster world - Omg it's a plane!

Okay err I wasn't expecting a reply like that, I was just correcting mistakes, and If I'm honest don't get what your point is with the fuselage being too big.Can we put the plane to bed now, I shouldn't have brought it back up in the first place. :( Sowwy

Mark is joking regarding the rather daft discussion of the plane not being accurate when it really doesn't matter...It looks like the best scenic addition to Thorpe in YEARS! YEARS! And yet people just seem to argue over it not being a particular type of plane or being slightly incorrect... It's silly to go on about...

Aww. It's okay. I have no idea about the fuselage size. I just found it amusing the little sidestep into aviation the topic adventured into.

Today's enthusiasts are SPOILED, let's not forget that. We're treated to pictures, interviews and info almost on a weekly basis, especially with Thorpe rides. Merlin in general do a good job of treating their fans to teasers, mini-sites, pictures and behind the scenes opportunities. Let's have a bit of patience and less of the "must have more now" mentality that is prominent in today's society. Was just over a decade ago when enthusiasts were told next to nothing about new developments. Even in recent years some parks have chosen to go down the more secretive route. Thorpe have been nothing but generous.
