The Sprite Urban Games is back with a ?Summer Sessions? twist at Thorpe Park in Surrey this August after its successful freestyle festival on Clapham Common in July. Taking up residence at Thorpe Park from Saturday 12th August to Friday 25th August, this fourteen day action sports fest brings together the UK?s finest, all performing to the backbeats of the hottest urban and rock music around.
Sprite logoThe Sprite Summer Sessions will not only showcase some of the UK?s best in skate, BMX and B-Boy action but the public will be able to join workshops on BMX and Skateboarding taught by the professionals.
The festival promises to be this summers most exciting event at Thorpe Park, with a one off street course, tailor-made for skate and BMX. Expect awesome demos and a thrilling selection of gravity defying stunts on bespoke courses, designed by BMX legend Shaun Scarfe.
The UK?s top skate and BMX stars including Robin Fenlon, Dan Cates, Mark Nicolson, James Hitchcock and more, will be on park to wow the crowds and teach those in the crowds lucky enough to get into a workshop.
If Urban Games is not your thing though and the skills of our professional skaters don?t take your breath away, then Stealth, the fastest ride in Europe will. With a super acceleration of 0-80mph in 2.3 seconds - that?s faster than a racing car ? and the fourth steepest drop in the world, it?s guaranteed to get you screaming.
