    Hey, I've just become a member, but the other day after googling saw the ride I found this website. Since then I have read through every single post in this thread, I got so scared about the queue for saw. I went on the ride yesterday and there were no chavs anywhere. I was so shocked. But yeah, the ride is absolutely amazing, as is the queue & I hope you all have/had fun on it :D!

    tpkabz, was it really testing? at what time?, really great if it was! What were queues like?

    It was testing with water dummies in when I saw it. Also I don't think that they were sending cars round as frequently as they were when it was open.

    I must be the only one that thinks that Thorpe's lakeside location is beautiful and shouldn't be so easily disregarded.

    I also think that it's pretty cool how most of the park is surrounded by water. It looks really nice when you are walking across the entrance bridge aswell.

    I went down Monks walk today and saw them testing the ride continuaslly. One thing to to note is that everytime the cars go down the first drop an alarm is played. Part of the theme perhaps? Also the cars are going through the final dive loop much slower than in the original testing video. It looks like there will be some great hangtime there!!! :rolleyes:
