  1. I would say that's definitely a coincidence, good thinking though :)I also thought Mortalis was a good name and rolls of the tongue along with Nemesis and Oblivion. If that is the name, I think we can definitely believe it's not going to be a "family" coaster :)As long as it's not "The Woodcutter"... :)

I think names like The Woodcutter, 666, thirteen and Panic were put into the Survey to throw us off the hint, which hasn't worked. :) Here is what I'm talking about, found on Screamscape:A reader was approached to take a survey about SW6 the other day, and while nothing new was revealed about the attraction itself, they did ask their opinion about several possible names for the coaster, none of which was “Surrender” so it looks like that name really is out. Some of the names they could remember being asked about included: Panic, 13, Thirteen, 666, Mortalis, I.T.U. (Into The Unknown) and The Woodcutter. I’ve got to go with Mortalis myself… as the rest sound kind of lame.
  2. I really like the name Mortalis which has been talked about on TowersTimes. It has a real mythological feel about it. Mortalis is also the name of a book about Demons, this would fit in with the "ride the demon" which is displayed on the advertising posters across the park.EDIT: I'm probably looking into this far too much, but after typing 'Mortalis' into Google, and then clicking on page 6, (SW6), the first article says "Into the Woods". Coincidence or not?

  3. I do like Detonator, although it is the only ride in the park now that still scares me every time I ride. I'll happily go on SAW, Stealth, Colossus, you name it, without even being the slightest bit bothered about it. Queueing for Detonator really scares me every time.

I know EXACTLY how you feel.
  4. Detonator is the ride that I get scared most about. The floor vibrating while waiting to get on really gets me pumped up. The agonizing wait at the top seems to go on for ages, but sometimes I wish I just stayed up there because my reaction when I get down is very embarrassing, especially when there is a lot of people in the queue watching.

  5. I really can't comment on this as I work there but I hope they do stay! They are open till at least the end of Oct Half Term! So come on down, ride them and show your support! :)

I seriously hope that they are allowed to be kept.
  6. Nemesis Inferno is now my favorite ride at Thorpe Park. The effects really do make it an amazing ride. Back row is so good on this ride, I find it really forceful and fun, compared to some of the other attractions Thorpe Park has to offer.
