I thought it could be just theming,but also thought the turntable at the end would have been a lot of work for a small effect. maybe the bloke who designed it is a big tram enthusiast!

on my recent visits to thorpe park,I noticed some steel rails set into the tarmac to the left of tidal wave. these extend out to the waters edge of tidal wave and look as if they have been broken off,as part of tidal waves theming. the other end of the rails leads to what looks like a turntable,also set into the tarmac,outside what was the wicked witches haunt.they are all visable on google earth.does anyone know what these were for,whether they are just part of the theming of the area or the remains of a defunct ride?cheers
