How busy on Monday 2nd Sept? Anyone?

What do you think it will be like Monday 2nd September? My thinking is it will either be packed as last monday before schools go back or really quiet as lots of schools go back the next day. We are lucky and don't go back til the Thursday! Am hoping this will be a good day as we have been planning this, our first visit, for months and one thing after another has caused us to cancel.

Please can someone tell me how busy it is likely to be this week. We have all week off and would like to choose a quieter day if there is one!

So, in the week of half-term, it should be a bit quieter than the weekends? Monday will be bank Holiday so do you think Tue, Wed or Thur would be a good bet. I am assuming more people will be there on Friday as they may be making a weekend of it. What sort of queue times are we talking for half-term?

Thanks EC and Coaster Jamie. I was thinking of avoiding Monday as it's bank holiday Monday so my guess is that would be the busiest day. Celia_coba, last week of May is school holidays, half-term. June 10th is when schools have gone back.

We have a choice of going to Thorpe Park sometime between May 25th and June 2nd. As this is school holiday time will there be any difference which day we choose or will it be better not at the weekend purely because some parents won't have time off? Any help would be appreciated.

Due to a poorly son, we are now going next Sunday. Will it be much busier as it will be the last day before many schools are back after Easter hols?

Oh no...I didn't realise the rides were so weather dependant! We really want to do Saw and Colossus. Weather looks quite good for the weekend though so fingers crossed...

What is TPM? Not my main question though...We are coming to Thorpe Park for the first time this weekend. I don't mind buying a couple of Fast Passes but don't want to spend a fortune on them. Will both days be as busy as each other or is there a better day to go? Do Fast Passes run out quickly?

When you are in Thorpe Park, can you but next day tickets at a reduced rate like you can at Alton Towers?

We are making our first trip to Thorpe Park this weekend. Not been before as its miles from us...our usual park is Alton Towers. Just wondered how busy is it likely to be.

Oh dear!!! Was hoping people would be busy getting ready for going back to school and not having the same idea as us! How much are come back tomorrow tickets? Does it get quieter later in the evening?
