We know Thorpe Park are getting X-Raptor V2!! I posted ages ago, a foreign article about how Gardaland are getting a prototype in 2011 and Thorpe Park will get the V2 that come with spinning seats. Thorpe's version will take everything they have learned about Gardaland's version and they will give the improved version to Thorpe Park. They only built the prototype at Gardaland so they can use it as a test model. B&M even gave Gardaland a huge discount to sweeten the deal. So far everything has come true and when the rest come true, gurl can sit down and be quiet. The only thing I'm gonna say is doubters gonna doubt

Haha Benin!I do agree with Mikey, the evil force / monster theme is getting a bit old. I can see Alton Towers installing an indoor rollercoaster that is centered around a monster in the cellar / basement / crypt that is family-thrilling and well-themed. I can see Alton installing a well-themed water coaster with indoor section and rollercoaster section, replacing the Flume. As for a thrilling rollercoaster, I can see Alton Towers installing a multi-inverting, ground-hugging Floorless coaster; it could be the AT equivalent to Thorpe Park's Colossus. I really think Alton Towers could use a multi-inverting, ground-hugging Floorless rollercoaster because it would allow them to make use of terrain, foot-choppers and its an overall, good thrill ride that will appeal to AT's teen and older market.
  3. I don't think we will ever see a world-class coaster at Thorpe Park. I don't think Merlin will allow the coaster to be well-themed. I can see Merlin giving out an amazing World First rollercoaster and it will probably be really-well landscaped. I don't think Merlin thinks their guests care about that kind of thing. But the standard of themeing for rollercoasters can't change unless parks put the effort in.I can see Chessington installing a very well-themed rollercoaster for their next big project. I think it can be a World Class rollercoaster if Chessington are willing to put in that effort. I think there will be another World Class rollercoaster, but for Alton Tower's next project.
  4. This is so exciting, I hope for a post-apocalyptic/nuclear themed rollercoaster. It would really suit the urban setting of Thorpe Park.

  6. Outfit could have been right but at the last minute, they might've said no instead or might've delayed it. This change to Vampire might be a last-minute decision. If Chessie was lazy they could have not bothered at all and at least they are investing some funds into making the attraction more pleasing.
  7. I don't think I'm coming Tomorrow if the snow is not better and the pavement is not that slippery. I'll have to walk down to the station which is going to be horrible. I'd much rather stay at home, eat nice food, play some Brotherhood, write a song or two and knock out some coursework.I'll see but I'll probably come on Sunday if anything.

I found out about Florried around July / August. She is not signed to a label and is making the smart decision of building a fanbase first because she looks for a record deal. She is working with Xenomania who has prod. a lot of songs for Girls Aloud.Natalia Kills is not good at singing / performing live at the moment and her voice isn't anything unique or special. But I think she is special because she writes her own songs (which are as good as Gaga's), her genre of music is unique (Dark Pop) and she is similar but at the same time, very different to Gaga. She acts in her own webisode series (Love Kills) and has a film coming out called the Exhibitionist which she is directing. She co-produces and directs her music videos and is given a huge amount of creative freedom, which is rarely given to new artists let alone big artists like Beyonce or Mariah. She is signed to Will.I.am's label as well as Cherrytree and Streamline (which Gaga is also signed to) and I am convinced she will be pretty big like Katy or Rihanna.

http://twitvid.com/XDN2XSo good!Mirrors - Natalia Kills (Dark Pop)If you like Gaga, you will like her. She is also signed to the same record label as Gaga. She is a British-born, half-Uruguyan / half-Jamaican artist. She is signed to Cherrytree Records, Streamline as well as Interscope. She is supporting Robyn on her tour and is tipped to be one of the big artists for 2011. Debut album comes out in February.
  10. 2011: Land of the Dragons: Re-theme to Medieval England and merged with half of Toy Town and to be part of Europe theme and to theme Dragon's Fury second lift hill and to maximise throughput on Dragon's Fury. Get rid of all the rides in Toy Town apart from the Berry Bouncers and the Jumbos could be themed to Magic Carpets, which both could have an Egyptian theme. 2012: Wild Asia: Vekoma Madhouse and a launch coaster, themed around a carnivorous jungle that is 60mph and a few inversions on 'The Glade' and the area around the Mystic East. Rollercoaster for 2012. The application could have already been submitted. Last rollercoaster was installed 8 years ago. Refurbish and include a new layout for the Safari Skyway which includes new cars and speakers.2013: Two flat rides, one would appeal to the older market; an S&S Sky Swat that would be partially-built in the ground and themed to a medieval contraption. The other would be a family-thrilling, indoor / enclosed Afterburner (like Vortex) which would be about an Egyptian curse. A re-theme for Rameses Revenge. 2014: Refurbish the Vampire station, theme the queue better and install speakers in the cars. The second lift hill could be enclosed for more excitement. The first tunnel section, after the 2nd lift hill could have curtains and fog to be made darker and spookier. The tunnel at the break-run, could be pitch black and there could be speakers that would give the feeling that the vampire is breathing down their neck, with a loud, sudden scary sound to jump / scare riders.2015: Bubbleworks could be gutted and replaced with a new layout and a new theme. A story would be about a team, exploring the vampire's crypt, which would be a little like Valhalla. The ride would be in partial darkness with new animatronics, a great sound system that give clear-cut, scary sounds to create an atmospheric ride of fear and paranoia. The ending could have a spiral drop to a brighter section that signifies the team, making their way out of the crypt.2016: Mystic East (Asia): Refurbish ‘Dragon Falls’ and to update the themeing on the rocks and the final drop could have themeing at the bottom. There could be water cannons like there are on 'Logger's Leap'. A support ride could be a Topscan that would run on a medium-to-high setting and would be quite well themed. If not, there could be a dragon-themed 'Magic Carpet'.2017: Pirate's Cove (Europe): A well-themed water coaster on the picnic area between Pirate's Cove and Dragon's Fury (Spinner). Last rollercoaster was installed 5 years ago.2018: Transylvania (Europe): There could be a drop tower like Benin's idea which I really like. A nice pre-show room with drop riders in total darkness which makes the ride even scarier and makes the drop look longer; capitalising on fear and the unknown.2019: A water park could be installed by the hotel, with three suicide slides and two master blasters. There also would be a spa area and indoor swimming pools for older and younger. 2020: A River Rapids ride is to be installed around Wayanama Village (Safari Attraction).2021: Mexicana (Africa): Re-theme land to a Voodoo African village and to maximise throughput on Rattlesnake. The big change is to replace Runaway Train by 2018 with a Vekoma Minetrain Coaster.

    Jobs..

I've decided to apply for the Wimbledon Tennis in the Summer; my Dad told me you get up-to £1,500 per month inc. tips and also to Harrods in Knightsbridge.
  13. A HUSS Jump2 - there's only one in the world and it's in Canada's Wonderland. It's a huge ride and one that would take up the space of Rush but it has a huge thoroughput and it would be made relevant. It could be dug into the ground and themed very-well.A Gyroswing called Shredder which is popular among ATA and TTF, which would replace Blade and the Blade would be relocated to Mutiny Bay. Banshee: A Floorless Coaster with multiple inversions that would be close to the ground and the trees and would make great of use of the 'foot-choppers' effect and it would be in around Katanga Canyon and Gloomy Wood, but centered in Gloomy Wood. I'd give AIR its own zone called 'Paradise Kills'. I'd replace the Flume with a Water Coaster. It wouldn't be as long as the Flume (obviously). It would use a different layout to the Flume but where the Flume used to be, trees could be grown, to replace the ones that have been cleared for the coaster. In that case, a brand new flume would be built in Paradise Falls to compliment AIR.
  14. I think I'm coming; there's an 90% chance!!
  15. Gerstlauer has now confirmed their involvement in 9 different projects in 2011, which will include 2 new family coaster concepts on display at IAAPA. For this they have created a high capacity single train operation, and one of the new rides will be a new Family Shuttle Coaster design.

I honestly think its a simple misunderstanding and if it were a debate, there's nothing wrong with some healthy slighlty-heated discussion.
  18. I don't think some with a lot of confidence would find that offensive. But some people that have low confidence or esteem, might find it offensive.
  19. I personally think Merlin are taking the piss with the park and the zoo and the rides haven't been updated since I don't know when, because I can't actually remember when. Do you remember how parks are installing new rides every year two-three years and coasters every 3-5 years. Chessington hasn't had a new rollercoaster for 7 years. If they had a new coaster every 4-5 years, that would be reasonable. Safari Skyway - This is a highlight of the zoo and tbh, it's the first thing they see. They could use new cars with a new track. I strongly think they could use a new layout (if granted) because like mentioned, the cars don't go anyway near half of the zoo.Vampire: Mark is right, the coaster is in dire need of being replaced. It can't compete and a park like that in Merlin's portofolio, needs to be able to compete with other parks in the country and most importantly in Europe. I would like to see it replaced with that idea, that John Wardley had, of a B&M Inverter, which involves a huge hole in the ground.Bubbleworks: This was my 2nd favourite ride at Chessington but times are changing and this needs to be gutted and replaced with something more long-lasting and appealing. A half-indoors, half-outdoors Intamin rapids ride would go down well. The management knows how much sentimental value this ride has and having an indoor/outdoor river rapids, would be fantastic.Pirate's Cove: This area needs a major ride since this area doesn't stand out at all and the buzz and attraction would be created, would be fantastic. I think that a medium-sized water coaster would be perfect for this area, since as I suggested, a rapid's ride in the same area (Translyvania) would use the same water system.Wild Asia: CARNIVOROUS - An amazing new launched rollercoaster experience from MACK (Or Gerstlauer) - 60mph, 3 inversions, 54 inch height minimum requirement. Themed around the carnivorous jungle and a huge man-eating plant. Mexicana: I think Runaway Train has come to the end of its lifetime, it's been at the park since the beginning and I think the park is in the position to replace it with something bigger and better. Something like a proper mine train coaster. It would take up the rodeo space, the petting zoo, where the totem pole is and the Mexicana restaurant.Mystic East: Dragon's Falls was my favourite ride and also, my first ever theme park ride I went on and I think gosh!, this ride takes up so much space and it could easily be replaced by a modern Mack logflume that takes up half the space. The other half of the space could also be used for part of the launched coaster. I'd also bring in a mondial topscan which would replace the ferris wheel, the climbing wall and the bungee jumps.
  20. If Daniel did things like Rooney, yes it would change. But thankfully, Daniel is just a normal guy who loves his Cricket games. After reading about what happened between Benin and Ryan; I thought I'd get ripped to pieces by footie fans if I didn't remind that I know nothing about footie and am just giving an opinion.
  21. Seriously JoshC?Daniel Radcliffe is a fantastic actor and pretty-damn talented; he had to get through a vigarous (SP) audition process in order to get the role. He's worked hard every single movie to deliver the best performance and to satisfy the director and the team. It's not easy learning a "few lines" or should I say....a 20-page script which I doubt you could do and channel the performance the way that people want; even if you have to repeat the same lines 25 times at 10 different angles, in different tones of voice - which is frustrating and tiring.Daniel is not like Wayne Rooney, who smashes a few whores and a dirty granny, plays crap from what my mates tell me and gets paid hunded millions. I hate football because even though the training process and to keep in peak-shape and a superb physical condition is hard and very tiring; to kick a ball around and get paid £60.00 (est) per minute is taking the blantant piss.David Beckham is always hopping from club to club (and I know nothing about football, but am just giving my opinion, which I am allowed to) and can't even kick properly; he's so stupid he thinks he's playing Rugby and kicks the balls over the flipping goal posts and he gets paid £54.00 (est) per minute. I think he was lucky to be even asked to be the Mascot / Mentor-thing; I'd rather get Cheryl Cole to be the mascot because at least, she can be entertaining after a few pints.

I get your point, exactly!!I don't use Facebook because people rely on it too much and measure their popularity as a sign of how many friends they have; which we all know is stupid. I can't be arsed to use Facebook because I don't have loads of hours on my hands and there's plenty of better things to do; than sit on a computer / laptop checking FB statuses. But yeah Benin, I totally get your point =DBut what I meant, was when you're friends with a group of people and they turn everyone in that group against you and you miss out on socialising opportunities, then Benin, that is a bother and a inconvienance.Of course it's not my problem; its their problem. And if they want to delete you off Facebook and ignore you and turn your friends against you; then it shows what a bad person they are. I don't let it worry me but now, cyber-bullying is a huge problem that affects a third-half of all teenagers and adolescents; so yeah it's something that needs to be dealt with.

It's not Rich; it's an article that I feel strongly about; what with the recent Gay Sucides that have been occuring in America. The article is inlight of the student who killed himself after someone exposed his sexuality. And I never bullied you; I thought you bullied me. I actually liked you quite a bit and was looking forward to hanging out and becoming mates or even better mates. But sometimes it's not meant to be and it's probably not the right time; that is all in the past and to look to the future and what it holds.Back to the article; I think that schools and colleges need to take appropiate steps and bypass a bill or allow the President to have the sufficient power to change the protocols and procedures that are currently in place.

Defriending has become the latest form of bullying; I wonder if anyone here has become a victin of defriending? I also wonder if anyone here, has become has used defriending, as a form of bullying. "Complaints are now surfacing from despondent teens who have been shut out by groups of friends or classmates on Facebook or other social networking sites, said Shayla Thiel Stern, an assistant professor at the University of Minnesota who researches youth communication. ...... Surveys have estimated that a third to half of adolescents and teens have been bullied or harassed online."I think it is absolutely pathetic and nasty if teenagers / young adults are defriending people, as a form of bullying. In the context of bullying, a popular person in a group of friends can spread malicious lies or (peer) pressurize members of the group into ignoring, cutting communication ties (MSN, Facebook, online fansite and shunning the victim from their group.I hope people don't get enjoyment out of this kinda thing because if they do, it shows how crap and pathetic their lives are; especially if the victim has socialising / communication problems or has low self-esteem and confidence issues. People like this are pathetic and are predators that don't always end up having happy endings.Any responses..if you can be bothered?
