    Thaaaaanks guys!I applied for Rides & Attractions, was told about the Experience / Thrills divide, and mentioned I was particularly interested in Thrills.The loooovely lady on the phone said 'Rides Host' which I'm guessing covers every aspect of rides possible, from filtering the queue (I mean like that Nemesis Inferno bit before you go up all those stairs), to platforming and maybe even (grins cheekily) operating them?But seriously. Wow. This is just great. And great is an understatement. :) Now, to resign. (Not from Thorpe, obviously!)

    Smart-Casual should do it. Wear some nice jeans or trousers with a nice shirt, but don't go OTT with a tie, unless you look uber sleek (like me :huh: ) Haha!

    hahaha,na the thing is I bleive most people will turn up wearing hoodies and that .looking casual..and I want to look clean smart casual and then my sense of humor starts and we should get a job offer :L

    I think they'll like the sound of that, seeing as (I assume) you know all your Health & Hygiene/Food Safety stuff, and the fact that it's in a football stadium proves you're used to working in a hectic environment! Permitting the job, you should fit in rather nicely! Same as Outfit said, just be yourself, take the time to think what you're going to say, if you have any questions, just ask (at the right time), and don't forget to SMILE! :huh: Love it!

    Hahaha, Yeah I work at Reading Football Ground..It soo good.. Yeah its hetic..its like ahahhaha! Machines all ways bnreak at half time :( Cheers mate for the tips..Just dont wnat to muck it up :(I think people awaiting a reply..will prob get it friday after tomo's assements.Ry-Boi

    Be yourself, be happy, positive, add to the team tasks and help out as much as you can in the team task - for the interview you need to be confident and do remember you don't have to answer the questions instantly, give the questions a few seconds thought or whatever.And don't be too shy, but don't be too overly confident! Good luck :huh:

    There was someone called Tim who worked on Rush in 08 but he didn't operate it AFAIK. Unless it was Ti? When did you go lol, I'm curious to know who it was!Water Cup challenge on Vortex is the best ;) And the screaming competitions between Vortex and Zodiac...I'll miss those days...Some guests are easier to get interacting than others, a bunch of grumpy old men won't be willing to sing "If you're happy and you know it" for example! But it's great when the guests want to join in, there's nothing worse than them all sitting there staring at you in the console like you're a loony :P Although making animal noises down the PA probably isn't most people's idea of interaction...I didn't do it that often, honestly! ;) Good luck with your application themeparkaddict, I'm sure you'll get through! :D

    Hahaha,Do you work there then?I went with my college mates, (I'm about to leave:(:D) and we actually got a whole ride and queue line singing "Just like a Prayer" by Maddona, we currently learned this the day before in class haahaha! This was on rush in October! We then got members of the staff to ride with us, and we got a round of applause when we were leavign the ride by people! Amazing!I liek when people have fun and just lose all sense of dignity, Amense Times!

    Just wondering, Like do you have any storys from past visit's from the staff..Like when I went with all my college buddys! we actually got the whole ride singing the ride operators name ..it was well good! Think his name was Tim or Summit, On Rush He was! Ledge! x

    Guys! Who has worked at thorpe park,Or will be in 2009 season.Ive currently got a assessment on 22nd, hopefully I get in ;)Any tips?Also..Who ahs any like stories about staff on rides etc.Like me and my mates got a whole ride/queue line singing "liek a prayer" lol! Ry-Boi!
