    We were playing football then I went in to watch the news for SAW the ride, but I left my goalie gloves at the field. When I came back after realising I put on wrong channel for SAW the ride I put my goalie gloves on and everyone started laughing, it was wet so I took it off and someone said the chav had peed in it. :)

    Aw dude, that's horrible.I really dont understand why people feel the need to do things like that. It annoys me.Sorry to hear about that mate :(

    Everything regarding Thorpe Parks future is all pure rumour. The only thing we know is that SAW is opening, Miss Hippo's Fungle Safari has gone & the lake is still being filled.Everything else is just speculation. Don't trust anything unless it comes from a reliable source.

    Anyone know what special effects are going to happen inside? I belive something scary or related to the film hence why its 12+ only.

    It isn't 12+ only. On the sign it states that the ride may be unsuitable for under 12's if unaccompanied by an adult.Plus I think this is to do with there being live actors in the queue, not just the interior theming.

    A man lives on the twelfth floor of an apartment building. Every morning he takes the elevator down to the lobby and leaves the building. In the evening, he gets into the elevator, and, if there is someone else in the elevator -- or if it was raining that day -- he goes back to his floor directly.     Well I didn't win the competition which is just another load of bad news for me this week. Really could have done with winning as I can't really afford to go on Saturday (but that wasn't why I entered BTW). Why is it always the people that actually need things that don't get them? I bet the bank refuses me an overdraft cos I'm not employed...but I need the money to be able to get to work when I start in a few weeks! F**ks sake.

    If you explain to them that, and that you will be in employment, so will be having frequent income then they should let you have one, expecially if your credit rating is ok.Sorry to go off topic, but I have permission from Marc to post all I like :) teehee :)Cant wait to ride on Thursday.

    The park themselves have already said the areas are being 'lost'. They have been for a few years now.

    I know that, and technically they only said the areas are being lost on the map, they've never stated that the areas are going to be lost in the park.I just think it would be nicer to have the areas back up on the map.

    I do like it, I like the cartoon style and the people BUT that looks nothing like how Thorpe is laid out. Saws first inversion is not next to Zodiac, nor its Flying Fish behind Tidal Wave :)

    That's what I thought, but I guess the map is only an indication of where things are, the general public arent going to walk into the park, look at the map and then complain that SAW's immelmann isnt where it should be :) Another thing that I still dont like about this style of the map is that they still haven't put the area names up, but again that doesnt really matter.I still love it, as I did last years.

    I personally don't see this as the best themed ride in Europe for 2009.The other eurofighter being built at Hansa Park in Germany is themed far more extensive and also Blue Fire at Europa Park is looking to be amazingly themed.But this should still be the best themed in the UK.

    2009 - SAW Opens2010 - Getting ready for next Coaster & future developments.2011- B&M Floorless Opens.2012 - New Flat Ride, general park tidy up.2013 - General park tidy up.2014 - General park tidy up, and getting ready for new Coaster.2015 - B&M Dive Machine or Intamin Mega-lite opens.2016 - General park tidy up.2017 - 2 New flat rides.I'd say it was quite a realistic plan, I doubt any of it would happen, but there's nothing stopping it from happening.
