  1. Just a quick question:

I've never used ERT before as usually use BOGOF so not entirely sure how the system works. I have won a competition and have Alton towers tickets. Would I be able to have ERT with these tickets as surely I can just enter the park as I already have the tickets or are there specific ERT tickets you need to be entitled?

  2. Out of interest, how has The Swarms reliability been so far?

Not very good today. Went to Thorpe Park today to ride The Swarm for the first time and didn't get a ride. Queued the first time and we were next to get on, and then there was a 'technical delay', so were given priority passes to come back later. They got the ride working again so we came back about 45 minutes before the park closed and used our passes, everything was fine until we nearly got on again there was another technical delay and the ride didn't open again for the rest of the day and we were told we had to leave the queue.

I came from the other side of the country especially to ride The Swarm, and didn't get a ride. Unlikely to come back anytime soon, really disappointed.

  3. Hmmm that is interesting, it seems to be spread over a much larger area than other spinning coasters. I think I should plan to go to Chessington sometime soon, as when I did go I never did try out the larger rides. So I have never ridden Vampire! I thoroughly enjoy going to theme parks but only ever seem to go to 1 or 2 every year (except 2006, when I had an Annual Pass). I haven't even been to Thorpe Park since 2008, but I will be going on the opening weekend. It's all been about Alton Towers for the last three years. Okay, that's enough talking about me....

  4. I've never been to Thorpe Park in March before so have completely no idea to how long the average queue times would be. I am going on March 28th, so any idea? What do you reckon the maximum queue times would be for Saw: The Ride and Stealth in particular?

  5. Not arguing with you Paul but...It is weird that all friends and family I have spoken too have found GCSE's to be easier than AS and A2.To be honest, I don't know how you can say GCSE's are easier!I have essays and homeworks already and I have only had a few lessons. The work that will come within the first month in AS is probably the amount you get in a year at GCSE :)

I'm Year 10 though and have to start AS English at the end of this year ;)
  6. I swear our house is massive spider mating HQ. My Dad just had to remove the biggest spider I've seen up close in my life from our living room. It could of easily fitted on the palm of my hand. This is the fourth freakishly large spider we've had running riot through our house in 7 days. FML.I'm paranoid about living in my own home. Greeeeeeat.

SAME! We've had huge ones like EVERY day :)
  7. I have double physics, double chemistry AND double biology. I chose Geography, History and Law. I am in year 10 at the moment though and chose options in year 9 as doing many GSCEs a year early. I didn't pick triple Science but was chose to do it :) And I HAVE to do French. I am going to have 65% Geography completed by end of Year 10, 50% Law, 50% Chemistry, Physics and Biology and 100% English Lit and English Language as I have to do AS English in Year 11 :@My GCSEs are:English LitEnglish LanguageMathsChemistryBiologyPhysicsFrenchICTEthics and PhilosopyHistoryGeographyLawGOD, YEAR 10 IS GOING TO BE CRAP ;)

  8. I have a random tip for anyone on here.... Are you tired of making spelling mistakes and then being slated for it?Then you need.... Safari!:PSeriously though, open your forum page up in Safari Internet Browser from Apple (if you have it), and when you make a post, it underlines all of the spelling mistakes (like Microsoft Word). You can just right click and it corrects it for you. If you don't have Safari, it automatically downloads when you download iTunes.

Google Chrome has that too :P Took seconds to download.
  9. I'm 100% straight although I could usually say if one guy is better looking that another.Gays from around where I am will have the mick taken out of them if they come out, ALOT. That is what people are like =/On the other hand, the lesbians and bisexual girls come out about it and nobody really says anything. Even if I said a guy was good looking, everyone would make fun of me.One of my best mates is gay but has only told me - he is scared to how his parents will react =/

  10. I watched Drag Me to Hell, it was so funny. The part where she is scared by a cloth and then attacked by the old lady.

I thought that film was hilarious :P Very cheesy too. A good 'horror' movie from Sam Raimi
  11. Hey I'm Mohs (short for Mohsin...weird name, I know :P)I'm 15 TOMORROW and have just started Year 10 (obviously)I love Thorpe Park but unfortunately, I don't really get to go too much =/ My dad is cheapy! I live quite far from the park, in Peterborough which is a bout 2 hours away, it's a crappy city. I like.... R n B music, shoot me if you must!Anyway, that's me - I'm looking forward to getting to know you all :D

  12. I have a fair few 'traditions':- Firstly, I never turn up on time! I usually arrive at about 11 - 11.30 =/- I have never ridden Tidal Wave because nobody else wants to go on it- It is always Stealth first- Nemesis Inferno and Colossus are crammed near the end of the day- Nemesis Inferno is always ridden twice :PCannot think of any more at the moment....
