Uh because it's fright night and there is a high risk of immaturity and unruliness during this event, so a higher potential amount of drugs or weapons being taken onto park.
I get why they have these checks, but I'd rather they find a system that actually works. It's laughable to see their entrance plaza look so dated and old and have to be divided using those little metal barriers.
My dad, who was going to drop me off and then come into the park with my younger brother, took one look at the queue and headed to chessington for the day instead.
So what security checks did they have then ? Cuz when I went in August we walked through the metal detector and no one was there to check it

Nearly an hour.
25 minutes in a queue that was constantly being pushed into for the metal detector. There were two queues because there were two detectors, but then they merged because it turned out only one was working.
Then at least another twenty to get our bags checked, which then led to another detecting thing and then a sniffer dog. Brownie points to the staff for still being so friendly today. They really do have a hard job.
Ok I went in August and the queue reached 30 mins roughly so they just let everyone around the tent why diddnt they do it today

On park, so far:
•waited nearly an hour for security checks which weren't even working fully
• Colossus and stealth are closed as well as multiple other rides (I know they can't help the weather)
•queued for zodiac- it closed :/
• queue times board says that ALL rides are closing at 4pm???? This is t normal is it or have I missed something?
An hour for security checks seems a bit exaggerated

I wouldn't expect to instantly walk on things but you should easily be able to do everything you want to do with the ultimate fastracks - enjoy!
Thank you

So fright nights this year has had mixed reviews so far however I’ve purchased the ultimate fastracks for 125 pound each I do have 3 questions regarding it
1. Is DGBT included in this package
2. How long is the average fastracks queue for the mazes so far
3. Is it worth the money ?

Went in the Fanta thing today, it was a VR lift experience where you are on your own travelling to 'floor 13'. Was a good bit of fun, had to sign a declaration form saying I was happy for them to use the footage of me recorded in upcoming advertisement campaigns.
Did u have to pay for this attractions ?

If there are stairs they most likely won't have a huge scare on them, although I do remember back in 2010-11 saw the ride always had 2 or 3 actors in the inside section of queue and also on the stairs, so who knows!
Yeh true Ik this is a little off topic to what I'm quoting but when do u reckon they will reveal the mazes and have the fastracks online ? Because with it being around 30 days to first event and they haven't said anything is a little worrying however brings the excitement up
-
Guys Yh it's merlin but do u reckon this will be a maze u go in a Congo line on ? As it has stairs this is gona be verry dangerous if someone jumps out st u

I'm just waiting for fastracks now. But they probably won't be available until they release all the maze information.
When do u think the fastracks will be released tho

Does this mean u will exit the maze through this door instead of the flaps like last year ? And I hope they have sorted the lighting issue as it was easy to see the actors inside the maze and one final point when do u think the fastracks will be realeased as hopping to buy the ultimate fastracks ?
