  1. 'Future of thrills' more than likely refers to the ride's reliance on modern elements. These elements are very unique with some being found on only a select few RMC's and Intamin coasters. As well as the fact it's a hyper coaster with lap bars. It's setting an exciting future for the kind of coaster design we'll see in the UK going forward, we're playing catch up with the rest of the world.

The IPs baffle me to be honest.

Thorpe's ones are all so embarrisingly dated now... Actually I'm sure all of them are completely dead in the water now aren't they?

Why do they keep paying for them? (I assume they're still paying for them? Who knows).

SAW is alive and well. Another film is in the pipeline. Black Mirror is also a very popular Netflix series.

To be honest, I see no issue with IP's at what is actually an amusement park. Thorpe isn't a theme park so it doesn't matter so much. I don't go there to feel immersed.

  3. Hellooo I'm Max! Long time lurker but was once a member as a teenager as 'Coaster XTREME', so it's good to be back with a slightly more mature username xD.

I'm a filmmaker/film geek and long time coaster/theme park enthusiast.

I've been going to Thorpe Park since I was very young and I run some of the biggest theme park groups on Facebook..
