If you're an annual pass holder it's worth getting the one for the year.  

 

However, you get the pass and when you want your ride photo you offer them the card and they scan it. You then get the (terrible) app and put the pass code in and all your photos will appear there. Or you go to the website and put the code in and you view the photos that way.
