  1. Well we could have taken out 3 official breaks at our usual times and noone would have stopped us doing so........ I'm just saying that contrary to popular beleif, we do actually care and work to get things open for you lot.If we did take our breaks, it wouldnt have opened at all that day.
  2. So the fact that we just spent £800000 on 2 brand new hydraulic pumps doesn't count for anything then?Remember that some of us worked our arses off, from 6 in the morning with no breaks, to get that ride open by half 2 on tuesday.
  3. You have no idea do you?Looking back at what I posted yesterday, someone has edited it, the words I typed yesterday were "Just to clear things up, WE DO check every single component........."You would not beleive how detailed the daily checks are for any ride.
  4. You should know that it is being treated just as serious as if someone HAD been hit by it.Marc you are not taking things seriously, the ride, at full swing, drop-kicked a 17kg steel plate through the ride exit, had someone been standing in its way, they would not be getting up anytime soon.Just to clear one thing up, I'm sure the park DO check every single component on the rides every morning, every single visible nut and bolt is checked. From what I know of Rush, if there had been a fault with that anchor plate in the morning, it wouldn't not have taken till 1 in the afternoon to come off.Oh and Marc, how can you say that the plate isn't a significant component?
  5. I'd like to know where you stole that last pic from.

Rita's acceleration is 30m/s/sStealths is 27m/s/sSebastian is correct, however both stealth and rita are capable of going much faster as both only operate at about 70% power.

Because everyone thinks you accelerate to the turn and it takes 2.5 seconds to reach the turn.

I do like Rita as it's fast and furious. It's also a wolf in sheeps clothing.I know it's advertised as hitting 60mph in 2.5 seconds but this is far from true.It actually hits 60 in 0.9 seconds. You stop accelerating when you pass the photo camera.
  9. X

The Technical Dude replied to Garyy's topic in The Past
I think people misunderstand X, it may not be the best experience wise but the thing is practically bomb proof. It runs all day every day and never breaks down. It never runs with less than 4 trains (5 just doesnt benefit anything) and it still draws a crowd so it must do something right.
