  2. This post wasn't just aimed at you but others mainly. There are times when other members make replies that don't make the situation better but worse. And there are times when members post animated gifs, which can be pointless and uninspired.I will PM you now Benin
  3. Sheepie is right, it is a popularity contest because my posts are "so-amazing", that I only have 30 rep There are popular members, who have got huge amounts of rep but all they post is crap and post stupid, meaningless gifs and put out stupid, meaningless sarcasm, which don't help situations, but make them worse.

It's not actually heartbreaking for her, when songs leak.Lady Gaga leaked the song Judas and she has been posting snippets of her songs during Gagavision 41-45 because she desperately wants her fans to hear it. Also many record labels leak albums. Leaking albums don't actually hurt album sales much but actually benefit it because it creates hype and word-of-mouth and it makes people go crazy. The BTW song was supposed to come out in Nov/Dec 2010 and the album was supposed to come out in February but was delayed to May. So she's been waiting a long time for her fans to hear her music. Also on FUSEtv, from the 17th May-22nd May, everyday a new song will premiere on their channel. She has 17 songs and 6-8 are said to becoming singles.

New Gaga song is awsome!! So friendly and empowering
  7. Ellie is right, you should do things because you want to do a good deed or because you generally what to make things better in and around the forums. I see the Lady Gaga topic as a form of segregation but at the same time, it's probably a good thing. Gaga is very popular and she's not going to disappear overnight and discussion, is only going to increase. The music topic should be for current and new and up-coming artists and other aspects associated to music. What I resent, is when people act like we have done anything wrong, because we honestly haven't. All we have done is talk about an artist and have annoyed a few people a bit. An argument was caused and it was dealt with and is over. As a matter of a fact, the Gaga topic is an act of COMPROMISE and consideration.Give & TakeMoving on>>>

The version of Government Hooker will be the version we have heard. One of the producers said that the Mugler version was a chopped-up preview of the actual song. But in the preview, the lyrics from the verse was missing and they showed a section of the chorus too."I'm gonna drink my tears tonight"....The lyrics are said to be dirty and controversial

Gaga is having an iTunes Countdown which basically means promotional songs getting released. Edge of Glory is the first of rumoured two songs to be released on iTunes. The iTunes countdown is being released on Monday.

Americano Acoustic Performance: (Vogue Magazine March 2011)"Another song, Americano, which she describes as like a big mariachi techno-house record, where I am singing about immigration law and gay marriage and all sorts of things that have to do with disenfranchised communities in America, has a resounding Piafesque chorus."Edge of Glory: (RollingStones Magazine)"This one sounds crazy in print -- it's a massive power ballad with heavy club beats that features Clarence Clemons of the E Street Band wailing on his saxophone -- but somehow it all seems totally natural when you actually hear it. There's an element of cheesiness to it, but it's totally captivating and incredibly catchy. If any of these new Gaga tunes demands to be a big fat hit, this is it. The inclusion of Clemons is an inspired touch that amplifies the song's Eighties stadium rock vibe, but his actual performance is amazing and ranks among the best of his career."Hair"...Another inspirational song in the mold of "Born This Way," but it's a bit weirder, mixing the yearning romantic melodrama of Pat Benetar's "We Belong" with the hard industrial metal edge of Broken-era Nine Inch Nails. The lyrics are essentially about embracing one's hairstyle as the ultimate expression of their identity, climaxing with Gaga triumphantly declaring "I am my hair!" in its huge sing along chorus. An anthem for hair salons everywhere."Scheibe"A remixed version of this number was used in a recent runway show by fashion designer Thierry Mugler. The album version doesn't have the same hardcore European house flavor, but it's definitely the tune most likely to bring back memories of early-Nineties dance crossover hits by C&C Music Factory, Snap and RuPaul. The opening of the song -- in which she flatly intones "I don't speak German, but I can if you like" -- is fierce, but the song is saved from being a slight novelty by a soaring chorus that vaguely recalls Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger." The Catholic League has said that they do not find the JUDAS video to be offensive or crossing the line. They said they actually quite liked the video. I like how the video pays tribute to her boyfriend and the bar they are in, is called the Electric Chapel (another of her BTW songs). I do agree that the video towards the second half, looks a bit chopped up, especially when she has a wave of water cleansing her and she is stoned at the end. I thought that could be expanded a bit.
  13. Okie dokey SheepsI'll drink you under the table with Tetley & Rich Tea Bikkies
  14. Well Holly, you're 100% wrong, you couldn't be more wrong about the advocating. She HAS attended equality riots, she has attended protests and she has tried to repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell which is about the law forbidding the army to be upfront on the sexuality and she's even phoned up politicians. Just because you don't know or hear about it, it doesn't mean, it's not true or hasn't happened.Secondly Jord, I don't talk about her 24/7, I just don't like it when people give her so much crap and I don't constantly barrage any of you with talk about Gaga, I have barely mentioned her. Rave started slating her off and I didn't like what he said, so I said something. And there's nothing wrong with having a picture of Gaga an an avatar, I've had that avatar since last year. I actually tried to change it recently. I don't think of her as a god, I just think she is awsome.Get your facts straight.
  15. Well first of all, my life is not centered around her and you don't have to be so bloody rude. With the crap you spew, it's no wonder why people are horrible to you. Music however is something that I care about a lot and it makes me happy. Life is crap and we all have things we believe in or take pleasure in doing and that can help to make life enjoyable. Seriously Seb, sometimes you need to realise when to shut up, say nothing and keep out. Did you really need to come out with crap and make pointless jabs and digs at me. You didn't need to say anything in fact. The answer is no you didn't.
  16. I'll tell you what the fuss is about:Lady Gaga is an artist, she is not a created artist, as in a popstar that is told what to do say, or think. She is not a popstar that needs songwriters to write and produce her songs. She writes her own songs and composes the notes themself. She knows how she wants her songs to sound like and co-produces them and comes up with a lot of her own ideas. She is a creative artist not CREATED artist and she has her own webisode series which she scripts, as well as directs and co-directs her music videos. She even directed her latest music video JUDAS.Dan9 was right!!Artists should be doing this anyway but they dont. She has worked hard to get where she is today. She is an inspiration to those who have been bullied, like many people on this forum including myself and she has gotten over her problems and persevered to get where she is today. She is bisexual, she's not that good looking and she is slated by people but she gets up every night and puts on an amazing show. Everyone says nothing but good things about her. Everyone from celebrities, her fans, her colleagues to politicans, the President himself and the the royal family have applauded her and show respect for the artist she is and the person she is. She generally does care about her fans because she knows how it felt to be an outcast and she wants people to achieve the full potential and to not worry about all the insecurities and imperfections they harbour. She makes brilliant music and her videos have hidden symbolism, as well as flawlessly combines impressive visuals with fashion with empowering and true messages about celebrity culture, society, commercialism, equality, empowerment and the constant advocating of the LGBT community.

The longer version is coming later. The video is really good but towards second half, there are 'holes', so it might not make that much sense. There are parts that have been edited out, to make it suitable for the American Idol audience. The longer version is coming around 12am (UK time), so check it out tomorrow. But I like how it's Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene and the disciples in a modernised biker gang version, with Gaga torn between two guys. The more religious things like the stoning of Mary Magdalane and the tidal wave washing away her sins, is apparently what was edited out. She's dancing more and her dancing has improved and I like how nicer she looks compared to the Born This Way music video. Also the album is said to be leaking next week, since Amazon and HMV have already started production on the album and with an highly-anticipated album like Born This Way, it's only a matter of days before someone gets a hold on it. Britney Spears' album leaked nearly 3 weeks before release and Gaga's album is more anticipated, so who knows.

    Video Games.

There are hacks on Xbox 360, I have seen videos on Youtube. Luckily I've never seen this on PS3 but it happens very often on PC. Leaderboards are regularly hacked and there are people running around with GodMode, speed hacks and unlimited health/ammo/magic etc.People used lag switch which annoys me. Ian, how does it work?

    Video Games.

About bloody time and Benin, it is not funny. I know of two people who claimed their details have been compromised. Sony said the data is encrypted, so the hackers could possibly know how to un-encrypt the data. But either way, I hope things get back to normal so I can play Bioshock 2 MP and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood MP. It's too bad you are on Xbox 360, since the Xbox 360 have a lot of hackers and speed hackers who can abuse glitches and lag.I'm looking forward to Infamous 2, Brink and Batman: Arkham City, which are gonna be amazing.

Why do people dislike the new Linkin Park album?I thought it was a step forward for them. I suppose they can't just stick with the same sound and they have to change things up every now and again.
  21. When I first joined in Feb 2008, I pissed off a lot of people and let's be blunt and honest. On my first meet-up I asked people if they were enjoying themselves, I got slated for being nice and considerate. I got annoyed because everyone was just talking and I felt that they were wasting my time talking, since I didn't have an AP. I've had arguments with Jack Dann and Seb, which have been resolved and things have moved on. Post-wise, on the future ideas topics, I've posted ideas for expansion that were unrealistic and not feasible. I don't think I was one of the worst members but I have grown more and more and have become more aware.I don't think people realise what is spam and what isn't. Ian is right, we have become so accustomed to the standards and ways of being on a forum, but other members are not always clued up. And we need to understand that they have to go through the learning curve that we all went through.I just want the older members to be more patient and understanding.Example:Adamm who spammed on forum chat, made a topic apologising for what he did. I am disappointed in you guys for really coming down on him and ganging up; you know who you guys are and it's unacceptable.
  22. 65daysofstatic - Dance Dance Dance = I love the intro and I like how it builds up. From 2.10, it gets very interesting for me. From 3.25, it gets brilliant, how every part of the music comes together and climaxes. It sounds like something you would go absolutely mental to. 8/10Patrick Wolf - The Libertine = I like the drum beat and in the background, there is a violin-like composition which I like. I like Patrick's voice, I once saw him on the Charlotte Church show on 23rd March 2007 and I didn't expect such a strong tone to his voice. His voice has a lot of character, which I like. The song sounds very relaxing, something you would tap your foot to. The violin is very catchy. I likey like. 9/10Death From Above 1979 - Romantic Rights = The intro sounds like a squeaky jar being rubbed against back and forth. It's overall quite good. I don't like it as much as the first two songs. It sounds very Indie-Rock and its alright. 7/10Foals - Blue Blood = The song is alright and I found that it got interesting after the 2.55 minute mark. I like the accent of the singer. 7/10Sigur Ros - Gobbledigook = I like this song more, it's more faster and the drum beat is quite catchy and memorable. 8/10TV On The Radio - Red Dress = This is one of my faves on this playlist. It sounds very disco/jazzy. It's more upbeat. 9/10Ladyhawke - Back Of The Van = Another song I really like. It's more upbeat and I like the synths in the background. It reminds me of Marina and the Diamonds a bit. 9/10 The Streets - Fit But You Know It = I like the lyrics. I've heard this before and I quite like it. I like how he's talking and singing. 9/10We Are Scientists - Down The Hall = I really like this song, it's more enjoyable. The music is the best part. It sounds like something you would really bang your head to as you play it loud and sing it whilst being drinking alcohol. 8/10The Joy Formidable - Austere = The intro is awsome and is very catchy. I like how the singer is not singing throughout the whole song and there is like a section of just music after the 3 minute mark. 9/10For music that I would never have listened to and would have never found out about. I think it's quite good and there are a range of songs ranging from Indie-rock songs to some synthy songs like the Lady Hawke song which was good.
