    I always use the bus to get from the station to the park, and I agree it is ridiculous to charge £3 for what it is. Also, you have to try and not lose the tiny receipt, to get on the bus back; harder than it sounds when your there all day.And stupid as it might sound, does the bus from the station operate 7 days a week? I'm going on Monday and I've only ever been on it at weekends.

    It has always been there when I have gone during weekdays so yes it does. B)

    The first ever time I went on Detty I was pushed on because everyone else wanted to go on it except me ( I was on a school trip) I was so scared it didnt look to high from the ground but when you are up there it seem bigger. Anyway when I first went on it time seemed a lot slower when we was going to the top it seemed to take for ever to get up there. Then the countdown started and by the time we had 2 seconds before detonation B) I was shaking like a leaf then when I got off I said never again then 1 hour later I was back on it and I have loved it ever since. I think riding in the dark is best seeing the whole park lit up. B)

    Yes, both swings work at the same time, but Rush is quite temperamental so sometimes it will only work on one swing. That said, Rush, in terms of reliability is infinitely better than it was back in 2005-2006.EDIT: Grrr Sam P! B)

    Just wondered, do both the swings ever work at the same time? I've been to Thorpe many times and I've never seen both working at the same time... B)

    Yes they do both swing at the same time but only when it is busy they were both up and running at FN last year I should think they have a 2 swing op this easter. B)

    I know it is a bit of a random topic but oh well B) So do you have any pets or pets that many other people might not have?I used to have a dog but she passed away 2 years ago:( so now I'm boring and got fish. B)

    slammer is down. I's a real shame, as it's one of, or possibly my favourite ride at thorpe AND I'm going on friday

    I wouldn't worry about the train stopping on the top hat, and a previously sparked fire eating away at the train and riders. Something tells me it's not going to happen.

    I was thinking the same that will never happen.

    Any more news on Nemesis? Maybe open for wednesday??? ;)

    Not sure if it has been spitting wax and rust then I would say no but not sure it could be but just think it will be shut and if it is open it is a bonus. :P

    When I went to the park for a Travel and Tourism trip Storm in a tea cup and Quantum are teacher just got the giggles we dont know why but oh well. When I first ever saw Quantum I thought I wont waste my time going on that but we got in the queue to try it out and it was a lot better than me and my brother expected. ;)
