  1. I really like the look of this app, but I dont have an iPhone ;) I do however have an LG Cookie, and I know that it can store apps. Does anyone know if I could use this app on my phone? Or if there will be something similar for other touchscreen phones?

Unfortunately it'll only run on iPhone's and iPod Touch's. At present there are no plans to bring it to other phones, however if there's a demand I can look into it!
  2. Posted ImageAfter what feels like an eternity, Apple finally approved Pocket Thorpe for the App Store. For those who don’t know, “Pocket Thorpe is the ultimate companion for your iPhone or iPod touch to help you navigate around Thorpe Park and make the most of your day. Pocket Thorpe makes ride restriction, location and other information readily available all under one slick and intuative user interface”. Good stuff. For a limited time (1 week, to be precise) Pocket Thorpe will be just 59p. To find out more visit the microsite. Happy Thorpe-ing.http://pocket.madebyphill.co.uk

  4. I was told that Alton Towers Mania and Chessington Mania were meant to open years ago.

O.M.G.Your post was quite depressing, and caused me to go look for all the old stuff. Brownie points to anyone who remembers any of this. Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImageOh the glorry days.
  5. Phill has left the team!

Hmm my post seems to keep disappearing.Left because I have no interest in Thorpe Park anymore, and it seems silly to be on a primarily Thorpe site, if that's the case. Also with my A Levels I'm finding that I have no time to run the site anyways. So no drama really, just to busy and lost interest.
  6. I think cloud computing has a long way to go before it becomes anything but a novelty. Internet speeds just aren't realistically fast enough, or reliable enough. We're slowly moving towards it, which is what Google has been really pushing (email, contacts, calendars), that said I think the jump to full blown apps being on 'the cloud' is a jump to far, at least for now.
