  1. I don't know if anyone has noticed but on the TP website it says in a red banner at the top that the tickets have nearly run out for the 30th and 31st of October.I'm not sure if this is a selling technique or real facts, but either way I'm not looking forward to the queues tomorrow. :) Oh well, I'm still bursting with excitement :)

    Marketing technique, most probally.
  2. With the newly refurbished effects now in operation, it really is a ride experience not too be missed. I would say it is worth a 2 hour queue if you haven't ridden it before.

I'd agree with that, as long as the mist is working, I can't go a day without riding it!
  3. Going by Monday, Advance-booking has really helped this year with numbers and the fact that most of the guests were very happy. At the end of the day there were walk-ons/5 mins on some major rides, like Inferno and Stealth and Rush.

Thats good to hear, as last year I think there were some unhappy customers.
  4. Does anyone have information as to why Detonator's down at the moment? I can't remember seeing Detonator having a period of downtime for longer than a day before, and this time it's been down since Monday.

I think I posted this elsewhere but I think it's the platform that takes the car up, it wasn't releasing or something because I remember seeing it up there with an engineer on top, when it did re-open though there was alot of oil (or what I though was oil) on the hook that connects the platform to the car, but then again, I could be wrong.
  5. And detonator is broken, what can go wrong with that?

Well, alot of things but on Thursday it looked like they had oiled the hook that connects the thing that takes the car up to the car so mabye it wasn't relasing or it wasn't catching propperly?
  6. What would people prefer? A brand new coaster attraction to Chessington with a simple name that may have been used elsewhere (bear in mind how many 'Runaway Train' named attractions there are in parks around the world....or no coaster at all? Come on people - look on the good side! And I have it from a good source that the official name for the ride is Kobra with a K.

    It's not a coaster.
