Thanks for your replies. That was my thinking, that it would be quiet... perhaps the strictly pre-booking rule is only for the fright nights tickets, just a wild guess though.Unless someone can tell me for sure whether I can book on the door, and whether I can use my tesco clubcard / 2 for 1 coupons, I'll probably just have to wait until 9:00 tomorrow morning and give them a call.

I'm thinking of going tomorrow, how likely is it that we wouldn't be let in if we were to turn up without pre-booked tickets? Also, would any 2 for 1, or Tesco Clubcard tickets be valid??And is there any way of contacting the park this evening?Apologies for the noobieness of my questions, it was kind of a last minute decision to go tomorrow, and would just like to get the info as quick as possible.,Cheers, Dan.

Yes, and all this in a time of global financial troubles! I can't imagine how quickly Thorpe will advance once we are out of this recession!(Although saying that, I guess Merlin was never really hurt badly by the recession anyway, people are still flocking to it's parks, do the figures show otherwise?)And to bring this post back on topic, this ride looks great, bring on 2012! .Thorpes evolution really does show no signs of stopping. They really seem to be aiming for that Thrill Park status, and if they carry on like this, it really will be the worlds one and only concentrated thrill park, which is an exciting prospect. You can tell customer numbers and customer satisfaction is up, and because of this Merlin are willing to pump more and more money into Thorpe. Luckily their creative team is world class, and now we could finally see an investor with enough faith to fund whatever the park want to do, to the fullest extent. I hope The Swarm comes to be exactly what the creators were aiming for!

Agreed, I think TP just put the live actors sign up for the fun of it/to annoy guestsI can almost guarantee there wont be live actors. Especially in the queue line, there just isn't enough room for actors to run around in the queue, its too narrow. Also Thorpe wouldn't bother as it would probably cost them more to pay the actors. I think it's something they should consider for Fright Nights however.

Whatever it is, it must be the shortest game in history!Exciting :PI was listening in to a conversation with a ride attendant when I went and he said that on the first bit of the ride (the indoor bit) you play a game.Anyone know what there might be? I'm so excited now

:)PS: Is there no 'all day fasttrack' option any more then? Here is a URL for the tarmac video,

I wouldn't say that 1,100 passengers per hour is completely out of the question. It would mean 1 car leaving the station every 25 seconds which isn't all that unrealistic at all.

I believe Thorpe Staff confirmed it today. How did you find out, not that I'm disbelieving you.

'These people' are two of the SouthParks administrators, who in the past have been very reliable sources of insider infomation, so my guess is that it's true.We keep hearing from "people" that stuff is happening, where is all this coming from ?
-
Yes, however it won't spin as was originaly proposed.is there still going to be a windmill?
