Does anybody else think that Stealth would be so much better with Lap bars instead of the full restraints. I don't know if this has been discussed before because I haven't been on here in ages so sorry if iv'e just brought it back up again.

We've already discovered this man , few pages back .Mumbo Jumbo at flamingo land wont take saw's record because firstly there is already a steeper ride then saw wich is simular to mumbo jumbo at indiana beach.. secondly saws record is for the worlds steepest "freefall" drop and mumbo jumbo has brakes on its drop wich make it non " freefall"

Ha same here. I love the ride so much yet my photo always turns out really bad lol.Thats so scary that bit, I always put my hands down becuase I'm scared that I will hit it, when I have put my hands up they have always been pushed down by the the force.
-
I love the thought of nearly crashing into the 'bridge' when I go over the air time hill lmao. My favourite Roller Coaster at Thorpe .My favorite bit is the small airtime hill before the cobra roll.

I'm saying that say someone was planning to go the next day and their favourite ride was closed, they would be put off thinking that they may not be able to ride it. Especially if they only go a couple of times a year. What difference does it make, all the guests are already at the park......
-
Agreed lol.The best bit is the barrel rolls - especially if you don't hold on. You rise out of your seat every time
-
I'm not saying it has to be put up 'the second' the ride opens, but at least at the end of the day. Its not really fair to the customers is it.Well once the ride opens, the people who are in charge of the website, control presumably have other higher priorities so the website wont be updated the second a ride opens.

Maybe Thorpe should make a music themes Roller Coaster after all. I think that its a pretty good idea IMO.
-
Well s/he might have been confused because even you have to admit that last week the website was pretty muffed up, saying that both loggers and slammer were closed when they were both open. Yes they were closed at one point but when they were opened it wasnt updated on the website.People shouldn't ask questions with obvious answers then.....

Sorry but its not the first time he's done it tbh, I think hes quite rude in my own opinion lol.Yes, it was quite funny. It was only a joke Jack, everyone can be sarcastic now and again. And I'm sorry, but if you ask a question like that, you can expect sarcasm .Anyway, back on topic now.

That actually looks so much better. I think Inferno should add fire elements with it being themed around a volcano.

Maybe Thorpe should think of adding new inversions, just like Universal Studios have done with there new ride, Rip Ride Rockit,

Which do you mean?or they could have the fastest one of those coasters that is shaped like a W.

Nemesis Inferno has the longest pre lift section of any Inverted B&M roller coaster, and it was also the first Inverted B&M Roller coaster to feature interlocking corkscrews on a single track lol.I understand where you are coming from, but Thorpe seem to always have that 'first' or 'best' element in their rides.X No Way Out - FIRST blackwards coasterColossus - FIRST 10 looping coasterStealth - HIGHEST launch coaster in Europe (also, one with the fastest acceleration?)SAW - FIRST horror-film themed coaster and STEEPEST free-fall drop in the world.Notice the trend? Although not everything is like this at Thorpe, I can very easily see the 2012 coaster to have some sort of 'first' or 'x-est' to them (if you get what I mean).

Haa lol, id personally love to go on Kingda Ka or TTD lol. For some reason id prefer to go on TTD, just because of the restraints lol.Sorry for going off topic .
-
I agree with you there lolthat furious baco is annoyingtook stealth's record by 3mph and its acceleration is no where near as good
-
Haa lol, isnt Dragon Khan in Port Aventura or something? Looks like quite a good ride tbh lol Has 8 inversions lol.Yes, that's what I meant. Sorry about that, where did Dragon Khan come from!? I shall change it now to avoid confusion...
-
Do you mean Steel Hawg at Indiana Beach, Monticello, Indiana?Currently, another S&S El Loco (like Flamingo Land's Mumbo Jumbo) in America called Dragon Khan has a 111 degree drop (do note, it is advertised as a 120 degree drop.

Arr Man! .

I was just checking out some rides at Flamingo Land on youtube and I came across this new roller coaster being built there,
, its gonna have a steeper drop than SAW, will it take away SAW's record? . -
Anybody know why Loggers is down atm?

The launch is the best part of Stealth! I don't know anybody that has been on it and has hated it.
