  2. Thanks I thought it was just me that felt that way about Saw lolSaw has fantastic theming, its an amazing ride but the landscape REALLY bugs me, how the concrete at the bottom of the supports stands out like a sore thumb, all of the bricks everywhere, it just looks like they left the landscape the same as it was when the track was being built lol. I understand that the "building site themed landscape" is the theme however it just bugs me because it looks messy and bare, hopefully TP will put some plants in soon! Also they should clean the Colossus lift hill, that black oil bugs me! I might clean it myself one day lolOh and Nemesis Infernos track when entering the cave is very dirty! Looks like white power from the smoke effects Apart from that though I personally think TP is the best theme park in the UK and I love it to bits! much better than AT IMO!

I'm sure TP are still hiring cleaners
  3. Vortex has audio issues, it might be the one James was talking about when it cuts out.Very funny yesterday at Colossus, we were just about to leave then some pre-set voice on the speakers kept saying "welcome welcome welcome welcome welcome welcome" for about 2 minutes then it says "Colossus is about to restart so hold on tight" Restart? I didnt know it had stopped? :(

  4. 23rd April 2009Arrived at 9:10am and was bored to death... I made my way to SAW to find out it wasnt ready to be open yet again so I jumped straight on Colossus and when we got to the top of the hill, there was people queing for SAW. I was so peed off but anyway Colossus was good so after that I went to saw in srq blah blah game over your dead and all that shiz very good. I was one of the first people in the station and all of a sudden this annual pass advert came on.. Like WTF? I looked as confused as the staff did. Well I got on and to my surprise Billy wasnt talking, just looked like he was trying to catch flies.. The two TV's at the bottom of the lift hill were not working although they did have audio only later in the day, the second time I went on saw I noticed the countdown timer clock whatever you want to call it was taken down (the one nearest to the gates) and to make things worse the tv's at the exit were not working so a bit of a bummer really. Most of the flat rides were 5-10 minutes, didnt really go over that so it was a real bonus, spent most of my day around lost city flats.I didnt see samurai being tested once all day or any engineers around the ride :(One of the times I went on stealth there was a 'shutdown' whatever that is, I dont know what happened but we were in the train behind and we waited about 5-10 minutes but the staff were very friendly and went much quicker :(Ride Count for todaySAW: The Ride - x4Colossus - x2Nemesis - x2Stealth - x3Rush - x4 (can you believe it? :P )Vortex - x3Quantum - x1Queue Times (Average)SAW: The Ride - 70minColossus - 25minNemesis - 15minStealth - 30minRush - 5minVortex - 10minZodiac - 0minQuantum - 0minDetonator - 10minTidal Wave - 0min (that was surprising as it was a pretty hot day)Rumba Rapids - Closed for the whole day I think..Slammer - 10minI thought it was a very good day considering there was alot of kids there... Grr9/10 :D That was my first Trip report, How was it? :D
  5. Yesterday I went straight for stealth as I think saw has got too boring for me :( Stealth was having some minor problems at the start of the day as we were told we could not go on it yet, But right after that we heard over the PA the queue line was ready to be open :P I got on the first train of the day and was at the front, it was just me and 3 others for testing purposes only. I decided to queue up again but then I heard there was a delay so I thought bugger it then I headed off to Nemesis and Colossus. So I had one ride on stealth all day.. oh well.

  6. I will be visiting the park next friday and wondered if anyone could advise me on the best route from Portsmouth. Does anyone know the price of a return bus from Woking to the park? I am trying to decide whether it is best to get a direct train to Woking saving £6 (on train fare) or whether to go all the way to Staines and get a bus there. The woking journey is 1.5hrs but then I guess the bus will take 40-50mins. The journey to Staines is 2.5hrs.Cant wait to go again. Its been a good year or so since I went last. I'm bringing a TP virgin with me so there better not be too many rides out of action! B)

theres 3 southwest stations around portsmouth I think, Fratton, Portsmouth & southsea and Portsmouth Harbour. They all go to staines
  7. Tbh the last 2 times I've visited the gate to the path that CCR goes down into towards the Saw ride area has been open, and anyone could literally strole right in. Obviously it would be nice for some people to use common sense and to not go walking into restricted ride areas, but Thorpe need to understand that not all of their guests have that common sense, and so shouldn't be leaving areas like that so easily accessable.

Well thorpe park is chav city so you will find alot of that.Anyone planning on going TP on the 24th? I will be there B)
