why is it riddiculous?It's actually ridiculous. It costs around £8 more to get public transport from my home to Alton Towers, than it does to get transport to Thorpe Park.

No. It would only make a difference to the ride if there was no water in the trough at the bottom of the drop
. And that would be nasty. yeah that wouldnt be great

me toohavnt seen the u-bend with water for a very long time.. I think I saw it once in 2008I rarely see the drop with water tbh

oh yeahh.. and you can see se7enAlso, if you look at Tidal Wave from Google Earth you can see that it is empty again and, because you can see The Curse marquee, it was during a fright night

I'm not sure why but water was running last thursdayWhen I last went to Thorpe Park (May 10th) the section after the lift and the chute didn't have the water running which made it look really ugly.Does anyone know why?

I think they should add SRQ too all the 'extreme thrill' rides.. exept tidal and X.The thing is once Thorpe stop doing single rider on a ride you'll suddenly find there are LOADS of free seats on the ride whilst there never seeemed to be free seats when the ride didn't have single rider. Dunno how but it seems to be that way

ive alway's thought samurai needs single rider, there is usually at least 3-4 free seats every timeBadAgain on Saw , I would say at least one in ever 2 cars there was a single rider , probably even more than that , and also on the Single rider thing , Samurai is desperate for it!! , it wouldn't be hard to add it in as the riders are pre-batched and they could be added in to the mix easily , but EVERY single ride there was at least 2/3 empty seats!! which was very annoying as you will have guessed

15th season!:)I didnt realise how old it wasIt would be bad because Rameses is now into its 15th season and is quite past it. It's had a few refurbs but it doesn't perform as well as a new ride and ultimately would not be able to pull in the punters like a brand new flat ride would.It's not about Chessington holding onto one of its apparent best rides (which it isn't), it's about Thorpe looking to the future, not being held back by the past.

I dont think that every ride would need a paint job.2010) Massive refurbishment. Nemferno's water feature comes back. Colossus' fountain comes back. Fish should have some kind of water feature as well. Limited update of music. Every ride gets a paint-job.2020) Announce closure of Rumba Rapids. But opening of a new rapids combined with a mine train. Rapids called 'River Bongo' and Mine Train called 'Bongo Express'.

stand on tidal waves soak zoneI can totally see the point in Hydration. If it's a hot day, all water rides have queues over an hour, and everything else is around 20 minutes - 1 hour, and you really fancy a water ride, £6 Hydration is the way to go.
