the majority of people do not do this.I go in agroup of either 3 or 4 and we ususally use SRQ on stealth and SAW just to avoid the long queue'sBecause its for people who are visiting the park on their own.
-
Did see one couple jump under the silver line from SRQ when I went, they were ahead of me. Didn't mention anthing though, tbh more fool them because got on the ride quicker then them the security an staff have been very good with that on SAW.. I have seen a few gruops jump over the silver line but thye have been caughht every time and sent to the back of the queue

yeah. they do take a lot of space are there any 4D's in the uk? I didnt think there wereI admit a 4D would be an intresting coaster and I'd love to ride one one day. However 4D's do take up a fair bit of space, as can be seen here...And considering Thorpe Park's already very cramped together rides and lack of space, it seems a 4D is unlikely, which is a shame, as X2 is supposed to be very good.

it isnt a bad idea but yeah it would of cost a lot moreIt was a stupid reply for a stupid idea. It would and could never happen.
-
ill be watching that:)like your pic with alfonso!Monday 25th May, 8:00pm, Channel 5.

ohh ok.. I think a 4 dimension coaster should be the next:)Because it is built over water!TBH, I don't know the exact reason why a woodie is not suitable at THORPE PARK, I just remember reading that because THORPE PARK's island is reclaimed land, a wooden (woodie) coaster is not available for option at THORPE PARK.

I use SRQ most of the time:)In the end, SRQ worked well. Yes, it needed to be stricter sometimes, but overall, it did work well. I will admit that twice there was someone else with me and we did it to skip the queues - but that was because we didn't mind going on by ourselves and we felt it was pointless queuing so we could sit together when we could just fill in an empty seat. In other words, I used as it should have been used - I didn't abuse it. In the end, stopping SRQ will probably lead to more Fastrack sales, thus making the queue longer than SRQ would have done. Perhaps Thorpe should be slightly less penny pinching?

why would Thorpe being reclaimed land make a differnce to being able to build a woodie or not?I think I read somewhere that THORPE PARK can't build a woodie as THORPE PARK is reclaimed land.

I was there thursday..queue was and hour and a half most of the dayLol it was longer than that, bout 30/40 for most the day. But still...30/40 mins seems to be an average Saw weekday queue tbh
-
I can't see thorpe building a woodie..Someone called Darren Shears said that Thorpe said they were planning for:2012: Woodie2016: HypercoasterAnd in-between would be not much but some flat rides if anything

if you were queuing for 40 mins you should of stayed untill they said priority passes will be given outWhat annoyed me is that my friend and I were queuing for about 40 minutes to get on Saw yesterday at the start of the day when it broke down. The woman on the tannoy advised people to leave, so we left and went to line up for Samurai instead. And then we saw a group of 3 guys go join the queue line, they were there for about 5 minutes before they came back out victorious because they had been given exit passes when they hadn't even been lined up since the morning. It was hardly fair.

ohh... ok.. I wonder what that coaster could be...What I meant, was that Thorpe can't build another 200ft-ish (115ft+) coaster till 2016. They said they won't build another coaster that height till the LTDP runs out.
-
I dont see why it would beSince when is the height ceiling being removed in 2016?
-
yeahhI reckon Thorpe could find away around it... they did with Stealth:)Remember the 115ft height limit...
-
very trueit is one of the best:)^ But one of the best.

yeah stand up would be good:) am I right in thinking that detonator was only meant to be at Thorpe for a few years?Yeah I think it could do with being higher but then again its fine how it is what about it having a stand up part like the one in drayton manor
-
its a great ride but I think it needs to be replaced with a much taller drop tower
-
I think detonator should be replaced with a much taller drop tower.. Detonator is small for a drop ride
-
the new map isnt in proportion very well, same as last year..but I do like the cartoon effect
-
Stealth.the restraints on there do not move about at all and feel very secure:)

I was speaking to one of the mods for this site in the saw queue last monday, he mentioned that saw would be closed for a week or two to put the other two trains on, as they are only running with six at the moment.does anyone know when it will actually be closed?thanks
