This is correct, a full queue upto the main gate is 60 minutes. Sometimes it seems like it is shorter but this happens when people do not move down into the queue line and just stand still for ages. We always ask for people to keep moving don the queue because if you are moving constantly even if very slowly it seems like the queue is shorter.When we add the external queue line ith the chains outside the main entrance we can hold an extra 30-45 minutes queue depending on the length of the extension set out in the morning. Normally this is determined by how awake I am in the morning to how well I set out the queue.

As a Thorpe staff member mostly positioned as a "building batcher" for Saw the ride actually policing that would be a nightmare. Once people were onto the fact that you were looking out only for "SINGLE" riders then they would just not talk to each other until they wwere in the building. SRQ did work for a while but the intention was always to replace with a fasttrack system. Single rider system was easily abused and although I personally and along with other staff tried to keep tabs on the guests it is very difficult to stop all that want to hop into the main queue from doing it.Lukily most quests now understand the best thing to do when you see someone doing it is to let us know and we shall remove them from the queue although it is a shame some feel intimidated and dont say anything.

Yes it does as well as the shotguns which I still hear every 2 minutes 30 seconds through my sleep!!!

Hi Todge,They are normally only on busy weekends such as bank holidays, we also use them when we have things like easter holidays, half terms etc. They as far as I know will not be there throughout summer maybe just on busy weekends at the start of the holidays. Obviously they will be there on Fright nights.

As far as I know guys after leaving the park the only way of contacting guest services is to write to them:Guest ServicesTHORPE PARKStaines RoadChertseySurreyKT16 8PNor they have a voicemail answered phone line but is used in more urgent enquiries, 01932 577108.If guest services receive comments they will be passed on to my managers and I would be very thankful.Can I just thank you for your nice comments, it really does mean a lot to us as staff to hear our work is appreciated.

Well we all seem to have to have different ways of doing that position, my thought is that the single riders are normally the people that ill come on the ride time after time and ill notice the difference between good and bad service so I always try and include them in the action! Plus from experience I have to say that generally when I get good service notices from managers they normally are passed from single riders. Might be coincedence but I make sure I put the effort in.

Yeh lol, I love it when guests think that a ride based on a series of horror movies ont be scary at all. That been the main question I get, "is this ride scary?". That along with "how long from here?" lol

They actors are really good, I love working in that position when they are there and playing along with it, hence the "now its your turn" comment lol. People think it gets boring working down there but it really is so much fun when you have the actors there to play with lol.

I was at the bottom of the stairs with blonde/brown hair. I was there pretty much all day apart from 2 breaks.

Those damn foxes lol!!! Its always nice to meet a thorpe park enthusiast, it really does make our day light up that little bit. We always have to try and be nice to people but when we can have a coversation with a nice person it makes everyone soo much happier.

Single rider queue as going quite quickly today as well from what I remember, I think the max people I kept waiting was 10 minutes outside and 15-20 inside.

Have to say that today was really good on the Saw front. I was working as a building batcher today (bottom of stairs with actors) and everything worked really smoothly. No single riders jumping into main queue line and apart from one idiot no other trouble at all. 8 cars back on track really has been a blessing for us, I think we have seen the end of our 2.5 hour+ queue times. By 3o'clock today we were working through 20-30 minute queue times for the main queue!!! on a sunday!!!Also if you came in today then hi, you probably remember me. Everyone was pleasant today so thanks, made my day go a lot better then it has in the past.
