This argument is flawed. It's like the argument where someone says 'Well why don't you try doing it, see if you could do any better?'. The forum is here for discussion, you'll see people slating queue times and fasttrack and in other posts praising the staff for a good day, that's the beauty of living in a free-speech society, opinions are a good thing to have, and sharing them is even better. The point is, people have paid to go to Thorpe Park and when things aren't working as they're supposed to then it's not nice. No one has actually said that it's so bad they won't return, and compared with other parks, the reliability is pretty poor.

Just got back from today and the area was fenced off, previously you could walk round next to the ride. There were a few people on-site but didn't see what they were doing.

This is me most of the time! But regardless, what difference does it make if theres empty seats?

That's really annoyed me, I really can't see the logic behind closing it, of course groups are going to use it, but why not? What's the use of having trains going round with empty seats?

I actually remember this being around, I never went there but it was in Somerset. I came across a post on an urban exploration forum with some pictures taken recently of a decrepid Mr Blobby house, might be good for a laughOther than that, there's not really much I can tell you, but I guess it's safe to assume that the park wasn't a complete success

Gerstlauer actually specifically put the blades insanely close for a brilliant head chopper effect. If you read the plans you will see that yes, in fact, you would be able to touch the spikes if you didn't hold on during the ride, but fortunatley they thought of this and made the ride really scary so that no one would be actually be no-handing during that part of the ride - It's all about safety, see?

Hi Martin, I spoke to you a bit today. I used the smug-riders queue repeteadly. Didn't talk about anything specific but I managed to ride about 15 times I think. I wanted to write a comment but when I got to the dome when leaving, I couldn't see where to enter it. Where can we write comments on staff members?
