B&M never give away anything new at IAAPA unfortunately The flyer at World Joyland does look stunning! The 540 degree Zero-G and fly-to-lie combi element looks amazing, and I believe thats the first double flat spin on any B&M anywhere! B&M are firmly re-asserting themselves at the top of the pile this year, good to see them back on top form!

Cheers for posting the overview Benin, I saw a picture of the 3rd inversion yesterday from ground level but couldn't picture where it'd fit into the rest of the layout. Unfortunately it loses one point for having trims Still, Air has trims which do absolutely nothing to the ride, so hopefully these will be the same. Also, at least they're after the airtime hill. So, the only thing remaining is to see what fills in between the lift and Zero G... I'm wondering if we'll see a plain curving drop from lift to roll, or maybe something else... Straight drop into horseshoe turn please

I found the poppy burning deeply offensive. In my opinion it's completely disgusting and absolutely inexcusable to show such a huge lack of respect to people who deserve the greatest deal of respect out of anyone really. I'm afraid I'm with Benin on this one; as far as I'm concerned they can expect to get as good as they give in the racism department if stuff like this happens. You may have noticed, this REALLY wound me up. Rant over.

That's correct, and the reason they are used on B&M's Hyper coasters is to do with block detection; they are there to assist ride ops in timing train dispatch.

Not to mention Formula Rossa which is trimmed to high hell! That first hill looks to give no airtime at all, which is such a waste!

Even Intamin themselves have been quoted as saying they possibly pushed the envelope a little far with this coaster... But if it weren't for the grey outs, it is apparently a truly amazing ride. The first drop when it opened did look insane, 305' and 93 mph - and it's been suggested that if the reprofile goes well the trims might be removed, reinstating that first drop which has been called the best of any steel coaster in the world by many people. What I'd have given to go on it when it first opened though, in all it's full on intensity...

In a rather drastic move, King's Dominion appear to be re-profiling part of Intimidator 305's track layout. This is presumably to reduce the enormous positive G force around the first flat turn and into the first air hill, which caused so many grey outs and complaints from the GP. Track is currently in the process of being removed, as shown in this photo from yesterday:Credit to Clint Novak for the photo.

They have a little measuring thing, I've seen a picture of it on the track as it's been going up... Although I rather imagine it was measured and designed to fit before it was built anyway The only thing I wonder about, is the reach envelope of riders, it looks awfully tight...Edit:Picture 13 in this updateAlso, this confirms (along with the close up pictures of the lift hill catwalks) that the seats are set well below normal height above the rails.

13th Seance
I'd agree with most of that! Just to back up Dan's points on it not being themed, this really disappointed me too. After seeing how his previous attractions were split up into individual scenes - with loads of detailing to tell the story, cleverly lit set pieces ect - the whole 'lets just put some fences in a room and flash strobe lights in otherwise pitch darkness' didn't really impress me.

^ You can almost get an idea of that just from the last picture posted above - the catwalks are very wide and set well below rail level, very exciting

Well two of the straight sections are launches and so kinda unavoidable... Also, the fact they changed the name just because the original one was leaked is annoying me
