Cedar Point
The giant flat spin is going to provide a very unique experience for every seat. This element is perfect for wing coasters. Looks to have a mix of lateral G's, hang-time, and the height factor.

Lake Erie is 9950 sq mi. Flooding is the least of CP's issues.

Well what coasters do you like. You seem to really dislike them. What all do you want out of a coaster?

^Lets not forget the target audience here. The Family. Iron Dragon, Blue Streak, Gemini, Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Corkscrew, Mean Streak etc. They all meet the quota for what they do, the park can't only have high octane thrill machines. Just look at Thorpe, only 2 coasters really stand out of the rest. That's an even poorer ratio.

-Millennium -Maverick -Raptor -Magnum -Dragster -GateKeeper (soon to be) All great coasters. For you to say "Not REALLY" doesn't make much sense. There aren't many parks out there that offer this amount of quality coasters. Maybe Magic Mountain or Great Adventure.

Looks like its going to be a "Camelback" Christmas.

They're near clones already.

GateKeeper seems to be focused on thrilling elements and the sensation of flight, hence all the size of the coaster. It's main focus isn't the near misses, like most other wing coasters.

GateKeeper is another fantastic addition to the Cedar Point skyline!

Cedar Point
Exactly. As long as the ride experience is good and memorable. Some coasters are superb, but seem really dragged out (Voyage). But that's also what makes them so great, a relentless action packed ride is something every park should look into.

This looks to be classic B&M design, the forces are going to be there, that much I can already tell. It's really the most impressive beemer I've seen since Sheikra. This just looks amazing!

This is shaping up great! This thing is already giving the other wing riders a run for their money Here is a second & closer webcam.

My Bad. Edit: "Other than being mirrored the only differences are: Swarm has a Inclined loop, X-flight has an Immelman, and X-flight has helix after the inline roll. And I do find them very alike. Swarm -Wing over drop -Zero G -Inclined Loop -Curve -Zero G -Curve -inline roll -brakes -turn -brakes X-Flight -Wing over drop -Zero G -Immelmann -Curve -Zero G -Cruve -Inline roll -Helix -Brakes -Turn -Brakes Very minimal difference. Both cookie-cutter beemers, and both are still great for what they do.

That's odd, the swarm and X-flight are near clones of each other. Other than being mirrored the only differences are: Swarm has a Inclined loop, X-flight has a 0-g ROLL, and X-flight has helix after the inline roll. I just find it odd how I do agree that the Keyhole towers will be the highlight of the ride, seeing how this this is going to be able to keep it's speed, should be great.

Cedar Point
Certainly the most interesting looking wing coaster so far. Wild Eagle was nice, X-flight was fun, and Raptor looks to be awesome. However, the Swarm looks like the least interesting one, very short and slow. Just my opinion.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
^Yep. It just hits 149.1 mph for less than a split-second and is immediately trimmed down to 60 mph. Such a waste.

Your roller coaster record!
Phantom's Revenge, SOOO much fun!

Well, it is a hydraulic launch coaster. As much as the coaster goes through, that really isn't much. Besides, cables for hydraulic launches aren't really comparable to chain lifts as they both haul drastically different workloads.

Intamin should of made the 170'+ hill more parabolic so Formula Rossa could maintain it's speed. The train travels a bit sluggishly throughout the course. JS.

Smoother and probably more efficient.

Great! I'm (obviously) excited to see the park get another world class beemer. Raptor is what set the way for most of the following Inverts, hopefully, GateKeeper will do the same. The layout is a simple out-and-back, yet it gives the illusion of being something else, and it doesn't even seem like an out-and-back. Truly a unique fit for the point, this is shaping up to be a excellent coaster.
