  1. Indeed. This could be amazing
  2. The explanation is on the website. Due to essential maintenance, Tidal Wave will be shut till next year. Yep. That means its not open during the day either at FN
  3. ^^ Tidal is shut
  4. FFS, loggers, rumba, rocky, IAC, and of course Tidal Wave are all gonna be shut Also, we're gonna be getting electric shocks by the look of fb pics!
  5. FFS, loggers, rumba, rocky, IAC, and of course Tidal Wave are all gonna be shut
  6. Anyone got any recent Big Top pictures? Or is anyone going to be on park this weekend. After all, by the time the weekend arrives, it will be less than a week till FN, so I assume everything will be up...
  7. Yes, the electric shocks were removed before the public opening. But on previews it was present. In fact, it's been commented on by a few writers...
  8. But its not! Lets be honest, saw and MBV are the same. Cabin was slightly changed last year (but the theming was the same), and Blair Witch just added more actors and torches. So essentially nothing changed! Unless you count 'the addition of torches' as a marker for constant change............. I believe, based on the performance of last year, that MBV (although short), Cabin, and Blair Witch will all be good. Not too different, but good. Now, Saw is a problem. The main issue with it is that thee Saw films are not scary. If so, then the maze cannot be scary either! The films have thrived on watching people torture themselves, so thats what happens in the maze - its not scary and never will be. Its a shame, as the sets are really good! PS: Did you know that, when it opened, visitors would get electric shocks whilst inside the maze?
  9. Wait what! Can't work out whether you're just bigging it up cause you're in it, or whether it's genuinely going to be better this year. IMO it was good last year anyways
  10. I'm sure youll survive
  11. really, at the shed with 1 shouting actor in it!
  12. It's true... I suspect you're just saying that to see the response, as scream is shut. But lets just say, when I've been, although it was fun, it was not scary (in the slightest). Although, like I have said, I find the London Tombs similar to FN mazes in terms of scare level and theming.
  13. Scream has been closed for an age! I went to tussauds just under a month ago and it was shut (it said until december/january)
  14. Yeah... I understand both those comments. In fact, upon seeing the image the first thing I thought about was the sight of other visitors. We shall see in under 2 weeks!
  15. Yeah. I have a feeling this year is gonna be amazing. If BT and containment are as good as they look, and roaming actors are increased............ this is going to be crazy
  16. Just thinking..... If those carnival games are part of the big top, I don't care how long the queues are. Everyone is saying to do it at 3 to avoid the queues, but it won't be dark! That scene will lose impact during the day
  17. The huge jack in the box was a crucial finale element of cos. it looks like it's also the finale of big top.... I think that's more than just a general clown similarity
  18. Yeah OK, maybe an improvement. But with the same finale
  19. So, this is a rip off of COS
  20. So, I just took a quick peek at the fright nights website, it's changed a little! I was wondering if this passage had been seen before? I mean, I think I read something like it from Scare Tour but I think it was slightly different..... on a side note, didn't COS have a big jack in a box? "Start your visit and discover what your future holds at the ancient fortune teller where the tarot cards will reveal your fate as you enter this circus like no other - this is where your journey begins. As you enter the hall of mirrors keep your eyes open but don’t look too closely… there may be others watching. Search quickly to find your way out but beware, the worst is yet to come. Journey through the carnival’s funhouse, once a place of laughter, now a haunting monument to the twisted revenge of The Figaro Bros. Become a part of their twisted game to see if you can avoid the same fate as those who have come before you. To make your ultimate escape, walk along old carnival grounds as you approach THE BIG TOP – the main circus tent where The Figaro Bros. dressing room lies. Complete with a life sized Jack in the Box; it is here where you’ll experience your final encore. Will you escape the Carnival Like No Other?"
  21. Dont think the area has been flooded... I hope it hasn't
  22. For reference (I live in Scotland), when is English half term?
  23. Yeah, because it is! Containment details are already online..... so all it says is #thorpe park fright nights, containment procedure. It looks like the start of a video, in fact I was surprised (and disappointed) when it didn't do anything upon clicking. But, it tells us nothing, shows us nothing, and is just a piece of text on a screen. There isn't even the excitement of paint actually drying. That would involve more energy...
  24. The marketing, why is it bad? Because it is perhaps the most uninteresting, unoriginal, boring, and bland photos I have ever seen.
  25. Fair enough, but I think you miss my point. Scare Kingdom is doing what fright nights does, which is creating a series of scare mazes. In terms of people yearning an 'extreme scare experience', being sexually threatened and awkward scatological jokes are hardly on par with another Adult-themed Age restricted event within the same area.
