  1. Sticking out from the back, so the end of the train is the circular blade, almost as if it's *chasing* the riders from behind
  2. I think Speed style custim trains, with a big circular blade on the back *cutting* the back of the train off, if you get my drift
  3. I really hope it doesn't have an age restriction, ok I'm over 15, but still it will probs block off the newer adrenaline junkies from the park in that area. The Ride looks brilliant atm, and the restriction because of a bit of theming is a bit poor in my opinion. Also, why would the park build it if one of the big pullers, families and their "younger" children (by younger I mean 12+) aren't allowed to ride. Perhaps it's a good idea to bring to Fright Nights
  4. Are there actually going to be any rides or anything happening for the 2009 season?
  5. All I can say is one thing, THEY COULD HAVE KEPT JUSTA. Bit of a new costume and design and he would have looked fine B)he may not be in keeping with the story but hey, I'll sure miss him, he seems strange at alton towers now
  6. sorry I just had a thought about the 2009 coaster and samuraiis samurai going to stay a part of lost city or get a re theme and join canada creek.I think possibly with the shape of samurai it could do a retheme nicely and become a part of canada creek, and I think it has always looked out of place in lost city.
  7. sorry if everyone has said this already, I just cut straight to the end
  8. Do you think that Thorpe is neglected though. The only ride that seems to get re themed all the time is X:\NWO which I think is the problem, they look at bits that seem old and then update them so they don't have to get rid of it. Also, looking into the introduction of Stealth, ok they had to think of a way to bring it into the area, but they just stole the idea from AT with rita. It seems like the theme started at the end and that I think spoils it. Thorpe could have done so much more and still can..Personally I think that Merlin need a major think tank to improve the park. Amity Cove I believe is one of the few areas of the park with a proper theme. The rangers seem to have disappeared, maybe bringing in new mascots for the park can help in this area. Also, some of the other areas of the park look out of place. I think Canada Creek (and the introduction of the new ride in 2009) could be the most profiting in the next year, with a dramatic retheme possibly. The theming in Lost City and Calypso Quay seem to be there, but need some updating. Possibly making Nemesis Inferno have more of a BURN to it, scorches in the houses, rather than little bits. They have done it with X in magic Mountain this year. Maybe it's time for Thorpe Park to think not of building new rides with themes, but to look at the old and give them a greater force into the area they were built. If Merlin asked for new theme area designers, I'll be first in the queue.
  9. You get to say one thing though, it is time that Pirates 4-D needed a makeover, I think this will be good for the park. Although wouldn't a film made by thorpe park about Amity Cove + the tidal wave been a better idea. I know it would have been expensive to do but hey a one off might be good for the park.Any ideas from you all if they didn't have time voyagers?
