  1. Last August I saw 8 rollbacks in one day... one of the trains (train 2) was far slower than the other. I was on a run where it sat at the top for good 5 seconds, creaping (barely moving), sadly it made it over... We got a cheer because it made it how it did...I just wish I rocked that car now... I was at the back so it would of been piss easy. I remember later on that day we got half the train to "rock it" on the way up. It slowed right up...but made it again :)

  2. Loggers has probally got the best queue other than Tidal wave. As its inclosed, the music is always heard fairly loud if they don't play those stupid announcements every 5 seconds. I which they would stop that doing them. Kills atmosphere that was gained. The queue always moves VERY fast though. Its the only queue in the park that runs fast, which is nice.Compact queues are BETTER. FACT. They give the the feeling that you are getting somewhere.

  3. Here are some pictures I took of Nemesis Inferno yesterday:Posted ImagePosted Image

It sat like that on tuesday too, just before I got on it at park opening. That position is normal though if the first train hasn't been a advanced into the station. Or though I find it strange that it was just left like that with guests on.
  4. ^Coins will not be fatal. They arn't heavy enough to gain any great velocity. Would hurt though. My dad lost a tenners worth of change on Stealths launch. It was really funny as the money followed the train (showered it and the queue) for some reason, then at the top it all just dropped. Also someone took on a load of paper stuff and released it at the top of Stealth. Lol. And phones on the brake run always fly out!And the funnyest one was when someone lost there shoe on Rush and it landed on Zodiac in motion.

  5. I aim for 30 - 40 rides per visit. Theres 28 there in that RC. All down to perfect timing and knowing when queues are going to be long/shorter. Thorpe is rather predictable. Stealth, Det, Loggers and Inferno are always dead for ages in the morning. Saw, X and Colly's queues tend to die off towards the end of the day. I never use fastracks.

  6. Chessie 27th JulyWell we had a bloody good day. Dispite the weather being crazy. It obviously put people off because the park was dead.Welcomed by Ice Age 3!Posted ImageFirst off we had a wander around the zoo part by the back of bubbleworks. Posted ImageThen the park opened, and we (in order) did Rattlesnake, Mine Train, Fury, Vamps x2, Rammy, Tomb. That was everything we wanted to do done. By 12. Vampy is quite photogenic me thinks:Posted ImageAfter food it was just of a case of makeing the most of a 10min queue for Fury and other rides being walk-on. It pissed down. Then you hear *clunk*. Yep, block shutdown on Fury. Down pour. Soaked guests on brake runs. Big Lol at them. Fury opens. Get round a few more times.Over to see Benin on Sea Dragons! And for us to potentialy have the most embarrasing ride ever. We also saw him on the Trucks.Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImageThis dragon doesn't like Raptors^Then the order was very random. Cant remember the order. It consists of many rides on Fury with many insane spins caused by fat people. Beaten on Rattle, Vibrated on Vampire. Mother feeling sick. And rain. And donuts. Not a clever thing to eat, are donuts. Cheap ORPPosted ImageSo RC:Fury x11Vampire x5 (3 Front)Rattle Snake x4Mine Train x2Black B. x2Tomb x1Rammy x1Sea Dragons x1A Chessie TR isn't complete without....Meerkats!Posted ImageOK. Now its done.
  7. From last Thursday.Far less busy than I was expecting. Which was nice! And the park opened at 9.20am! So many rides in the first few hours. Including 4 Inferno re-rides without moving, 9 Stealth re-rides, then Det, then Loggers, Saw, KFC. That was all before 12. Avoided Slapps today. Didn't want a pounding headache. No ride breakdowns other than Rush once. The PA sound system went down parkwide which caused a shutdown of Colossus. Obviously they couldn't announce that it had stopped operation due to no speakers functioning. All part of H&S.... Saw Chris (Infernus) on teacups. Stuck around him for a bit. Saw was running well today. Quite smoothly. The queue didn't go over an hour. The queue was 15 mins in the last hour! We didn't rush about though. Couldn't be arsed. So we have a rather low ride count... Stealth x9 (1F) Inferno x5 (1F) Colly x2 (1F) Saw x2 (1F) X x1 Fish x1 Vortex x1 Samurai x1 Rush x3 Loggers x1 Det x2
  8. Their reliabilty is no worse than any other park. Its just the ride types they have chosen to have are alreadly known for bad reliabilty. Intamins Accelorators across other parks are just as (or even more) unrealiable. TTD, Ka, Xcelorator, Storm Runner for example. Ka is down right now...S&S rides are never good on the uptime. Power Tower had issues. I know the other Swatter is hardly ever up.Saw has many design faults, not the faults of Thorpe. And to prove the point more. B&M's are known for being realiable. Inferno is rarely ever down for technical issues.

  9. The staff said there were other rides down too because of it too. Rather strange. No microphones or anything worked. There were 3 engineers in the station fixing the audio. The rides audio was sorted in 20mins. Sadly, the rest of the park was silent other than the dome and individual ride stuff. Inferno had its queue music though for the first time in like forever from the large speaker in the bushes under the transfer. Also, Saws internal audio was pissing about. The TVs cut out etc and that went silent. And it still plays WWTP quietly in the station...
