I've been holding back from a cruel way of destroying hope for a while now No matter how many times it gets said that its going to be closed, people will still refuse to accept it. Patience slowly dissapears

Well its operated with riders for 4 days so far and only 1 day went without a shutdown. Whats the point? It's been said countless times that it will be shut. No matter how many times you say you hope it will be open, or cos it was testing its fine or whatever, it doesn't change the fact that it will be closed.

To be honest it's more noticeable at Thorpe because they have a lot more very complex rides than the other parks, and they get even less closed season maintenence than the other parks cos Thorpe feel its necessary to push the engineers to get them open for February - creating rushed jobs which are just asking to go wrong.

If there wasn't a problem with the ride, it would be operating, not testing

Adventure Island, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Brighton Pier, Fantasy Island

Well, if you wanna go outside the UK then Cedar Point is totally surrounded by water

I think Air must hold the record for the most teething problems on its opening day Then again it is a flying coaster and the technology was very much in the prototype stages.Stealth was quite bad and regularly had whole days without opening but I think things have definatly improved for it now. It has nowhere near as many spontaneous shutdowns as it used it.

It's the same as your computer, no matter how many times you use it, your computer will still crash These things are very complex machines.

It's a tweaked version of the advert sort of. It's the same ride footage minus a little bit.

To be fair to Thorpe, it's a brand new coaster - it will have a lot of teething problems, they did a great job to get it up yesterday and keep it up all day and they deserve some credit for that. It's just a shame about what happened today and it should be expected with any new coaster really.

You did miss the live actors then, seeing as you got on it very early they simply may have not arrived yet, something to look forward to for your next ride. Yesterday I saw one car with the cameras fitted but the system doesn't work yet. I think all the cars are going to be having the cameras though, not just one like Oblivion.

I'm sorry if its made you feel crap but ya know, we could tell you that it might be open, but we'd be lying and then you'd be annoyed at us for giving you false hope.

It's really quite annoying how people think a ride is working just because they've seen a car complete the circuit. .

Not to mention the other 3 rides that will most likely be down tomorrow.

People may know but it can't really be publically announced cos it can put peoples jobs at risk for disclosing that sort of information to guests, if a staff member chooses to tell a guest.

The reason can't really be said. It was shut for about 80% of the day and people going tomorrow, don't expect a ride on it.

The queue boards around the park that have all the queue times on show you Saw's queue time.And anyone expecting it to reopen anytime soon, give up hope now.

It won't happen. Theres a contract with Lionsgate / Twisted Pictures that if 25% of the effects break, a shutdown MUST happen until they're fixed.Apparently...

It's the most intense ride I've ever ridden. It's not at all smooth.
