  3. This aint good. I'm going tomoz for the first time to ride saw and it says the ride is unavaible on the website. DAMN! hope its up tomoz
  4. I work for picsolve and I know they are expensive. we are trying to lower them but problem is, half of our cash goes straight to merlin so works out like 3 quid per photo that goes to picsolve after tax. and the cameras cost a hell of a lothowever, I do think there are different items which are far more expensive on park ie ponchos and quencher bottlesPS: I'm working at towers and its 18 quid for a pass with discount????? thats more expensive that towers.
  5. Hmmm. guys I work for picsolve. the equipment we use is EXTREMELY expensive. it costs a good three grand for the camera itself without the flash unit. as well as cost of printers software, flash units, the photo booth, the screens, it works out to be really really expensive. I know its high but working for the company, I understand it.BTW, best thing to do is do the 2 for 10 with someone next to u or get the Photopass (5 for 20 is good, u save 15)
  6. Do we know if the second access ramp down to the island is going to be completed this year?
  7. Can anyone tell me why saw has gone on the "unavailable ride" list on thorpes website
  8. My god. Not even a week in and its already had a lot of downtime. Does not sound too great
  9. until the testing is complete. no one knows how long that will take.
  10. I live next to towers and was tempted earlier in the year to come down for today. SO glad I didnt, the operation sounds crap today and with SAW down, so glad I didnt come
  11. where did u hear this from...
  12. The ride looks great but I think it will get better with age
  13. I think in this video they may have used the video system that picsolve are using for the DVD's
  14. I see picsolve have put the dvd screens and the photo screens side by side on the back wall of the photo booth.
  15. I think it is fantastic in the news reports, looks great from on the island. Cant wait come in study leave and try it
  16. I wonder if it will act like other euro fighters like typhoon and rage. Smooth on the inside seats, rough on the outside seats
  17. I think the live actors will be in the gaps in between the queue line and they will be protected by large fences. I assume the actors will be used at weekends and holidays, no other times.
  18. Oh, its just I heard a while ago on this forum that it was gonna be 1.3 as it was only a eurofighter. Okay,dm
  19. Any one else notice on the picture earlier of the signs that the height for the ride is 1.4???
  20. Just to let you know, it is not "yourday", it has not connections to "yourday". Its a "Picsolve" on ride DVD system that is in alton towers and that is what saw is getting
  21. I live in Cheadle, Stoke which is 5 Miles from Alton Towers where I also work part time lol. I really want to come to thorpe just to try the four big coasters: Colossus, Nemesis Inferno, Stealth and now SAW: The Ride
  22. Ive need been to Thorpe Park but I have got interested since 2006 when I first heard about Stealth and looked a lot into the park. This video makes me want to come to the park even more. Defo trip this year
  23. They look fantastic. The rough metal covering with blood splats and the burnt in logo are fantastic. I assume the video camera system is fully installed on the trains and now its just installing the video software on the Picsolve System like Oblivion
  24. First Post on this topic in 2009! WOOP! I'm looking forward to it. I had an idea bout the area, do you think they will have like characters such as guy on the bike riding around, like musical ruth at towers.
