  1. B&M, they're smoother, and they invented Floorless, Inverted, Dive Machines, and *technically* they invented Stand-Ups because they were working for Intamin at the time and they designed the concepts and layouts.Roses or Quality Street?

  2. I knew about the infilling of the Lost City, and I think most people would've guessed that at least one coaster would be put on the land behind Stealth and the Flying Fish; what kind? Well we don't know that. And how reliable do you really think the rest of the information is? It'd be nice to have a really well themed Flyer behind Stealth and Flying Fish (I don't want to know if its not going to be themed though, it would just look ugly).Sorry for going a bit off-topic there.

  3. A few saws and such? A MASSIVE hole for a few saws  For a huge hole, I'd expect something huge :D

Alright, I didn't know it was that big, there'll probably be another headchopper and some more epic themeing. In a way, the revised layout was also a good choice as it means Thorpe can theme more of the track rather than just the station building. :mellow:And that image is of the Immelman Turn taken from in front of Samurai. Although it does look very much like an Immelman Loop or Dive Loop depending on how you look at it.
  4. So is there any comfimation of the Dive Loop actually going underground, because I remember someone posted that they saw a large trench similar to the one inside the station building right where the exit of the Dive Loop should be. The pictures are rather ambiguous because it is unclear whether it does or not due to all those trees.

  5. In my opinion, a 15+ age restriction would be brilliant for the queues, but from TPs point of view, its bad because all they wanna do is make the money.

No-one at Thorpe really cares what you think to be honest... And I think your just being selfish, agreeing to let only people who are old enough go on a ride that everyone in the park has paid to go on.And no, Thorpe don't just want to make money, they have other priorities aswell. (Don't be awkward and ask me to name any, I'm lazy)
  6. The Slammer speakers have got even worse, they cut out about eleven times within the time it took for the ride to load and start, and they just wouldn't stop crackling; you wouldn't think they were playing music.Although Slammer itself is as intense and as forceful as always.

  7. And in this pic you can see a Gerstlauer immelmann.

Yup, Gerstlauer Immelman Turns do indeed invert, the Immelman was completed today, and Samurai was closed for a few hours while they bolted the last two pieces into place, when the Immelman was completed it was easy to see that it does invert. When I left they started work on the Dive Loop.Doesn't the fact that the Immelman Turn is an inversion mean that the coaster does indeed have 4 inversions, not 3?
  8. I agree, its a really bad name, but you weren't wrong about the pre-2000 layout, its traditional old-fashioned B&M: the sharp, compact layout in which the biggest elements aren't done first with just a pethetic bit of track at the end. The elements stay balanced throughout the ride, with decent track section between the inversions. Well Done Leigh :P
