Have fun!Do you know what area you will be in or are you going to be in Area 1,2,3 and 4?I have work experience at Chessington starting on Monday! Really can't wait :DBeen looking forward to it for quite a long while now

HAHA!!! I remember you wearing that when I saw you on Vampire! You special person
Picture = ME GUSTA!

What makes me laugh - it isn't on the website that it is closed. Yet they advertise Hocus Pocus Hall as closed...
-
... And music turned back up to how it was?Vamps PA was turned down due to noise complaints.
-
I agree.I haven't been to CWoA since I realised the Vampire music isn't hearable. That is how sad I am with it... Oh wells.
-
Both settings are horrible in my eyes. Although - once I am on it - sort of have to put myself through the pain of two cycles. Lol.
-
Random bit of information - Vampire is now on 3 trains. Woooo!
-
They are becoming more and more aware of how loud the PA is compared to the theme music... Hopefully will be changed soon.

I did guess the ending of this... But it still made me jump... Didn't help having volume on... :/http://www.youtube.com/user/SkulkerUJ#p/a/u/2/2h3hVrootIg
This was just posted on their Facebook page. The video is 4 years old, but nice bit of promo! I knew what was coming but it still urr.... well, it was very effective! -
I think it has been good... Seen lots on Colossus this year - So I am happy.

If you want to make any suggestions... Good or bad...adventurers.services@chessington.co.ukOn a negative though the station music still is super quiet and the operator's PA is indeed painfully deafening. Also last week organist was moving (barely), this week he is dead. Lastly, whilst Dragon's Fury had a great team and kept the queue down to a max 30mins all day, Vampire opened up 45mins late (which seems to be a recurring theme...) on a terrible terrible 2 train operation that kept the queue between 45-70minutes all day. Painfully slow ops, not enough people being let into the station to fill up trains, it really is so frustrating to see such a classic ride being operated in such a way.

Wow. I can never go into Tomb Blaster and think I am okay again. :)Thanks for sharing though. Probably be crapping myself next time I go in there but meh...

I agree it should not be used and I also agree that it needs to me louder! However, I don't agree with the pre-recorded stuff. Vampire has had some great operators that have created there own dispatch rhymes, sounded as if they are dracula etc and is a ride that operators enjoy. Surely you would know that from doing the Runaway Train? A pre-recorded announcement instead of you doing your choo choo? No!^ I think that would be overkill on the theme. It works so well in the station as it accompanies the lighting, set design which provides a suitable atmosphere in the station. I would love to see some ambience in the queue at some point though, that way it can be kept relatively quiet and isn't so intrusive on the queueing experience. It's a shame that it's so quiet, It really does need to be louder, much louder. It should fill the station, though it should not be ruined by an operator's voice IMO, they need some pre-recorded, themed announcements in there.

LIKE!However, at the moment, you can't even hear it!!!However, Vampire <3<3<3
This saddens me a lot!To not be able to hear it when it is on one train and on a quiet day - I am glad I am not seeing it now when it is busy. :'(Yes - I am sad...

You can have 6 to a row on Black Buccaneer if there are under 3 people in the row that are under 1.3m.What I don't understand, is that unlike lego and towers equivs.. chessington still doesn't allow more than 5 to a row when there's children involved - whereas the official guidelines are 5 adults.
-
In my opinion - I agree. It isn't as if people are in a queue line. They are in the outside... I agree with the LoTD no smoking and think it should of been introduced into Transylvania too due to the amount of people that hang around there for Vampire and Bubbleworks. But that is it.Again - my own personal opinion...Designated smoking areas? Ergh, I miss the old days that I was never part of where you could smoke wherever you wanted.
-
The same. You need an adult on the end of each how. However, unlike the Blade, even if they are 1.3m - they must be 16 or over.Have there been further rules from Huss? As I'm fairly sure it wasn't taking 10 minutes a cycle even at the end of last season.
-
How does Blade do it then Benin compared to Black Buccaneer?I was watching Buccy get loaded earlier today... It took 10 minutes at least to batch in, put bars down and check them all...In a major theme park, that is an absolutely PATHETIC time frame... I know it's cos of the Huss rules, but NO ride should take that long to load... Especially when Blade doesn't have that issue...

Random fact: The music played for Halloween Hocus Pocus 2010 is now played around the Transylvania area. (The Bubbleworks speakers outside).

I have to agree - that fountain finale music is such a nice return. I miss the strobes though! But the lighting in the finale is still good though!
-
Ahhhh... Good times...Also - anyone who has gone nearer to the front seats of the ride - Just a general quiery - Does the music seem quieter? Or is it just me?As well as the amount of people who go through the gates thinking that 6 people can go through the gates at once and the Operator constantly has to remind people on 2 people are allowed through and the back two rows are cornered off for a REASON

The music has FINALLY been turned up! Still could be louder and the front speaker is still slightly quieter...Also - the organist has had some touching up (get in there!) and looks really good. :)Negatives - Speed on dispatches. Length of queue. New batching system. Can't really elaborate on them for obvious reasons...Other than that - Great to be back down there!
