I've been on here for a little while now and I haven't posted that much but I thought I would introduce myself anyway. I'm Jason. I'm 13 and I love Thorpe Park. I look foward to meeting everyone on here and making friends!

^I agree with that. Also, if the height restriction was 1.3 or less, the ages of people able to go on it would lower. With the age recommendation, this will ward off quite a few you thrill seekers from going on under the age of 12. Aswell as this, some of the general public associate height resrtictions with ride intesity. An example of this would be Nemesis Inferno (1.4) vs. Detty (1.3). Many would assume with a lower restriction, Dettonator would be less intense. I don't know why as I found it a hell of a lot intense than Nemesis Inferno. The height restriction of 1.4 keeps Saw, in the eyes of the general public, in the Extreme Thrills category. Regardless of whether it needs to have it or not.

The plans say the the large middle part of the ride queue enterance will be the access road. To what, I don't know.

^Nobody really knows. I mean, I don't think so and even if they did, I wouldn't want to know. It leaves something you don't know about and something to look forward to discovering yourself. If someone told you, it would take all of that away.

I don't think people understand. Saw isn't part of Canada Creek at all. Thorpe even said this. It is a ride on it's own island with it's own area. It is totally detached from Canada Creek. The name 'Canada Creek Coaster' is merely a name given to it so people know roughly where it is. This was all said by Thorpe themselves!

Oh my goodness! I found an 8! Its on the left hand side on the vertical beam. Just under the horizontal beam holding the thingy up. I think some people are being a bit over the top with the whole story line thing. I mean, for years, people have been waiting for a ride with a story line like Nemesis and Oblivion but, when we get it, we bash it for having one. This is one the the first if not THE first time Thorpe have integrated a strong story into one of their rides. I think they are doing a good job. Please, don't complain when you get something you have been asking for!

I don't really understand why people are complaining over the theme or the ride! The name is a name and doesn't reflect or decide the quality of the ride or themeing. It's a name, no more or less than something to identify it from so you don't end up saying 'that black one' or something. I for one am loving the ride idea and theme! The creepy atmosphere and horror theme will really add a new dimension to the world of rides and coasters! If done well, the themeing and atmosphere will work! I just had a thought, this opens up a HUGE oppertunity for Fright Nights! Live actors. Oh, that would be so cool! I for one am really optomistic about it! Bring it on - SAW (HA!) - The Ride!
