  1. Right ive got quite a few questions because ive never been before and I need some knoledge. How much is your day footage? How much are photos? which rides have photos and which dont? with the early riders thing that alton are doing, does it apply if you bought it through another company who works with alton over the internet? does it say anywhere on the alton towers website which rides are open and which arent? Hopeful to find out soon:-Djjh123horry
  2. Does anyone know the Chest and Thigh Measurments for the rides, I'm going in a few days time and my parents are a bit on the big side so we were just wondering what the sizes are? Thanks:-)
  3. Tbh, I dont really have any Traditions, but here are a few things ive done in the past ( ive only been three times) X/:NWO First, then Nemesis Inferno, then a water ride (dont mind which really tbh) Always sing nursery ryhmes on the rides (makes them seem funner :-P) usually its 'a sailor went to sea' on Tidal Wave, the macerana on Nemesis ( I know its not a nursery rhyme ), 'if your happy and you know it' on X/:NWO, 'teddy bears pick'a'nic' on loggers leap (but only when I start to see the bears :-P) go on SAW last thing before I leave always go on Zodiac around lunch time always get a mega icecream cone and it only half of it :-P I always go in fancy dress for Fright Nights as well :-)
  4. Lol, when I went a few months back thats exactly what it done. It scared the hell out of me, and it didnt half hurt.

I really dont know if I hate it or love it, I mean, the lights dont help, its supose to be a ride in the 'dark'. but the music and noises you hear as you go around are good, so I dont know really. Also when I do sing its only when I'm just treally bored on it. I think it could also be because of how I'm deelin on the day. Personlly I'm in the middle with X:NWO.

I must say X:NWO is really boring. The last time I went I sat there singing 'if your happy and you know it', I had a few people joining in :-P.The things we do to make a ride more enjoyable .I have also noticed they have added more lights Which has completely ruined it.Oh well, can you guys think of any other songs you could sing on it?:-P
  7. I love the noise of the lift hill on saw and billy's laugh, when the lanch brakes on stealth go down and the clank you hear when you come off of the lift hill on inferno, expecially when you sit on the back row
  8. Thats a bit of a let down, people who want it to look like they were in a SAW film wont be able to unless they go in the right seats. Next time I go I'll ask if I can sit in one of the film seats. Thanks for thw info master iskander
  9. Thanks Paul, when I go next I'm gonna get one
  10. I went on SAW yesterday and personally I think the ride and effects are brilliant, but billys vioce was really ruined. They should of got Tobin to do the voice or at least someone who sounds more like him. The pendulums and spikes inside are so intense and when you get to the part with the cross bows and arrows, they really did make me scream, LOL. there wasnt any 'blood' coming from Jigsaw's body yesterday and I sat in the middle. It was a little bit of a let down, the ride though is a exellent experience and I will be going on it again. LOL, it broke down twice yesterday and when the people came off they were all sunburned. I did feel a bit sorry for them, but it was a bit funny. Does anyone know how you get the DVD of you on the ride? Because I really wanted one.SAW: The Ride is the best :D
  11. Sorry guys I didnt read the website properly. Thanks for the information thoughIts a great help.P.S. is anyone going on tuesday coz I'm gonna end up goin by myself soonoh wellThanks
  12. I'm really confused, because on the thorpe park website it says all the rides are closed, but I'm suppose to be going on tuesday and I dont want to go there and find its all closed. so anyone who is there today could you reply back to say whether the rides are open or not.Thanksjjh123horry:-)P.S. are any of you going on tuesday as well. And what is the average queue time for SAW??Thanks
  13. IanNem, I was juist wondering if when you have been on the ride, could you send a post saying whether there is any spikes at the first drop insde on the ride. thank you.
  14. In the indoor drop, are there any spikes or anything, because on thorpe parks saw website, it had said there were spikes in it, and I have seen a video which was posted by matty and I couldnt see any. I'm a little confused if they have put them in and its just too dark to see it or if its just they havent put them in.
  15. YAY!!! The blades spin. I'm so so happy. :-D. Thank you for the information James. You have made my day :-D
  16. I know this is going to sound so stupid, but do the 4 jigsaw blades spin when you go under them on the ride.I cant wait to go.Unfortunatly I have 2 go in august. Oh Well
  17. I went to Thorpe Park when it was fright nights for the first time this year and personally I think in no particular order these are the best rides in the dark: stealth (becasue of the thrill of going fast and not knowing where your going, that does apply at the top)Quantum (because your going up and down and it just feels really weird and the lights make it really weird as well)and finallythe teacups (the only reason I say that is because you go really fast and get really dizzy and the lights as with Quantum make it werid as with the music)
