According to the TP website: Stealth, Samurai, Colossus and Slammer all closed today. Getting a bit silly now!
-
Shame, really wanted to go on it on my visit on the 24th! Hopefully this maintenance gets it back up to full speed again! Last time I went it was really poor and took ages to zero.

The TP Website ticker is saying Samurai currently unavailable

I actually think it looks alright with it being boarded up.

I've got to give it to Thorpe Park, the themeing for this ride is just the best. I heard it was the BMXer who got taken in the BMX park and the Swarm has dropped him to Earth!
-
I bought 2 tickets yesterday via phone using corporate discount, but have to pick up the tickets from the Advanced Ticket booths. Does anyone know if these booths open before the gates open, as I want to be one of the first on the park and not be queuing for tickets!

What happened the other day. By that do you mean yesterday? I know it is in the wrong topic but was an event on yesterday, as when I was leaving the park 2 police cars were on their way in what happened?
About 6 rides were down at one point I believe.

It is really pathetic to be honest, and guests just get fed up of it when they're adding another train on.
My only guess is they have more engineers or they start at 4am...
Can't see them starting at 4am due to noise issues.

Wow, they really need to sort out their problems!
-
Seems more than just a little hiccup. Its on the TP website scroller now.

Adult admission is now a Whopping £43.20! £42 last time I looked. But still loads of coupons about, Sun tickets and the £20 offer they've been doing the last few weeks to keep it much cheaper and more affordable.
Expect to see it at £45 soon. Alton Towers whacked it up to this price in the last couple of weeks and TP normally follows suit.

Retheme/Spruce up X:/No Way Out? Just get rid of the thing!

Maybe the staff could replace the "0-80 in 2.3 seconds" sign and update it?
-
I'm guessing Stealth is back in operation as the ticker has been removed from the TP website.

Surely Saw couldn't of ran out of steam there?
On topic: Wow that 1st vid looks like Samurai in proper action. That 2nd video looks like Samurai in action the vast majority of the time now.

Nice! Even the fire?
Sorry, still no fire. All the waters effects were working though and in sync most of the time, plus while queueing in the stairs, The Swarm noise played at the correct time everytime.
-
Went on the back row for the first time today, and WOW! What a difference it makes, so forceful, nearly as forceful as its big brother!
-
Working fine today, although was taking quite a while to zero when finishing. I've seen it slower and I've seen it faster.

Went to thorpe park for the 1st time this year. Went on the first ride of the day on the Swarm. Both cars were working in the morning, but at some point in the day there must have been something wrong and they reverted to one car (although all seats were available). All the effects were working today and in sync (I think!). On my second go I went on the front. Unbelievable!!

Samurai was back open today with no problems! Quantum closed

If it's in school time, then empty, if half-term holidays, busy.

I'm alright on Saw, it's Colossus which is the biggest troublemaker for me!I love this ride, and I normally go on it more then once, but it's getting to much for me now.. on saturday it bruised my back and now it hurts so much! I find this on the front seats mainly, but after the Mcbr and when your dropping from the dive loop into the curve that leads into the breaks, it pushes my back in a really uncomfortable way! I know alot of people I know have that problem too.

Having a third of their main 'extreme thrill' rides closed is inexcusable really, no matter how busy or quiet the day is.They better sort out Stealth and Colossus by Monday!
