  1. Ah - another lovely video filmed in portrait mode. Also.. does someone say "Hi, Bae"? Ugh.
  2. I think it's the two photo spots that do it in the queue.
  3. An absolute groundbreaking (albeit invisible) ride system. Simworx have really pushed the boat out here (they're the true stars of the attraction) and the genius lies in the fact you have no idea how complicated it is. This will always be an attraction that divides opinions - and it's a shame the real complex stuff is hidden.
  4. I heard a guest had a panic attack. It's that scary.
  5. You've obviously never been to the first day of any major rides! Americans do it best.... Gringotts got 6 hours... Frozen had 5 hours...
  6. Staff training. And actor training with small audiences.
  7. If you're an annual pass holder it's worth getting the one for the year. However, you get the pass and when you want your ride photo you offer them the card and they scan it. You then get the (terrible) app and put the pass code in and all your photos will appear there. Or you go to the website and put the code in and you view the photos that way.
  8. Quiet here. Do we know if any further tests have been happening?
  9. Media night won't be until they've had previews.
  10. How do you know this? Have Thorpe park given the reason? We don't know the scenario... it could be an external H&S visit that's delayed it, it could be Derren's decided to re-write or re-craft a certain scene, it could be they wanted to add a new element last minute, it could be they've had to re-cast and re-rehearse, it could be the costumes were delayed... Every single choice affects all other departments. If a ride movement choice is made, that affects the show control software, which affects the actors' choices, which affects the throughput, which affects operations, etc etc. Coming from the theatre industry - I know how this works - as this is not a ride, it's a theatrical experience and is certainly being treated as one. This isn't just a case of a ride moving in a building.
  11. Don't think that'll be the case. They'll most likely open it quietly for previews and then announce the press launch when all the kinks have been worked out with the public audiences.
  12. They're an interesting size - maybe they're for some forced perspective trickery.
  13. Yes. We like the train hung by trains. Also if schools stopped sending kids to Thorpe Park and started teaching basic spelling and grammar - the world would be a better place.
  14. I think they probably use 13 because it's a creepy number to use in the description - where as it will last anything between 10 - 15 mins - into which 13 falls quite neatly in the middle.
  15. Can you copy and paste the article, please? It's subscription based...
  16. Yes. Would be an awesome effect, too! Very excited about this!
  17. That appears to be holding the bridge up.
