  1. No just me and a friend, and my brother and his girlfriend queued. We tried the whole "one person on a ride with me" thing but they got bored quickly waiting around so we split up. My disability makes standing for long periods of time hard for me, and by the end of the day I would be completely shattered and would take me a day or two to recover, something I'd rather avoid. I'm willing to do this so that I can visit Thorpe with more than one person, as eventually the conversation dries up and the only words that you speak are "What shall we go on next" - "Don't mind". I am grateful for the whole exit pass thing, I know they don't have to do it. I just think changing the policy to only allowing one person on a ride with me pointless.

  2. Last time I went to Thorpe (May... I think) We got turned down and we had to split our group into two. It sucks. I'm actually considering spiting my health at some point this year and just queueing, just so that I can have a nice day out with my friends.

  3. I know I'm in a minority here, but I think this is genius. If any of my friends do bring this up, I'm not going to tell them it isn't true. Because they'll s*** themselves the first time they ride. Oh... wait, I'll only get to ride with one friend due to Thorpe's stupid disabled policy only letting me take one person on a ride (Which means visiting with just one person, too)

  4. I need to give up eBay.I told my friend Sharon I'd buy her a Bast Taste Bear for Christmas, I end up bidding on a few when I find out they're going cheap. I get outbid and get a little competitive. Next thing I know I'm the proud temporary owner of 6 Bad Taste Bears. Ergh, I need to sort my life out.

  5. The Garden Rules by Snow Patrol is literally, amazing. It almost makes up for the fact they haven't released a good album since Final Straw. I'd post a You Tube link but none of them are working for me, Copyright? You'll all have to take my word for it.

  6. If it was me in charge, I'd have on-ride audio with whatever noise "The Swarm" make when they're swarming about (Maybe some sort of distorted buzzing, with sounds of being shot at and engines failing and starting again as you glide through the elements... Maybe the sound of crashing as you enter the brake-run)And then just, simple, eerie music played throughout the island.

  7. Updated from... whenever I posted in this thread. 1 Oblivion - No other coaster has ever made me unable to breathe <3 2 Detonator - Even though I rarely get to ride it anymore, everybody I go to Thorpe with is too scared. The only ride where I still think "Why did I want to do this?" at the top. 3 Nemesis - I loved the tingly feeling I got in my legs before the Zero-G and the second corkscrew is just, perfect. 4 Grand National - It's a lot of fun, plus my friends bag hit her in the face, which made me laugh. 5 Nemesis: Inferno - Like Nemesis it just does something to me, By the time it hits the brake-run I always feel really dizzy (Good dizzy) 6 Stealth - The launch still surprises me, and I've been on it so many times. 7 Rush - I just love how free you feel, and the airtime. 8 Air - I'm not sure why they're called flying coasters, It felt like more of a certain dog like position to me. Fun ride though, and so comfortable! 9 Vampire - Just because It's Vampire really ;) 10 I decided to give the number 10 place to Florida's coasters, as I went there in 2008 and can't really remember what made them special... but I know they deserve a pace on my list. As you can see, I don't get to go abroad to visit other Theme Parks a lot. As much as I'd love to and hopefully will in the future... when I win the lottery ;)

  8. I'm hoping disabled access will be via the Fast-Track queue, like Saw. And I remember being told to go through the Fast-Track queue for Inferno a few years back, though I never do and they don't seem to care.Literally so excited for this, after my first trip to Alton Towers in September I'm so ready for more B&M loving <3

  9. I've never liked 'Strangeness & Charm' for some reason, even though I'm a huge Florence fan. I love 'No Light, No Light', 'Spectrum', 'Shake It Out', 'What The Water Gave Me', 'Bedroom Hymns', and 'Only If For A Night' from her new album.

I must admit I was a little disappointed with the studio version (I know the video I posted is live, I couldn't find it on You Tube). The live version from the re-issue of Lungs is immense, but I find myself listening to the album version all the time now. Never Let Me Go is also amazing, plus all the ones you mentioned, minus Only If For A Night... I haven't got into that so much.As for Coldplay, I've never been much of a fan. I have been listening to Princess of China quite a lot though, even though I usually hate anything Rihanna does with a passion.
