The "carriage" was inside on Wednesday and during my VIP tour our guide had lots of praise for the ride and the experince as well as saying "we have set a date not that far away from the 6th so fingers crossed".
Read into that what you will.

Just a quick question abour coaster climbs as Thorpe havnt replied to me yet.
On the day, do I need to "check-in" and if so where and when?
-
Fingers crossed for soft openings or....no? okay
-
perhaps they mean no soft openings?
-
-
unless the lack of preview day is to try and prevent spoilers before the official launch?

Thank you
My friend shares a birthday with DLP so trying to plan the best time to go...... -
am I right in thinking that all these refurbs are in preperation for the 25th Birthday? so we can expect them to all be done before april (except Pirates)....
-
fingers crossed for soft opening's the week before....preferablly the 27th...please.....

I know in the periscope feed he says "ready for May"
However, that woiuldn't be in time for the Easter holidays so I'm thinking (really hoping) that was a slip of the tonge.....

Thank you for the answers guys!

I have booked a coaster climb in April (very excited!).
I was just wondering if they are limited by the weather at all?

yeah, are you surprised you got blocked? deleting stuff is a good idea and NOT putting that image on social media is a good idea, lets not ruin it for Thorpe or every one else. #justsaying #dontbeajerk

I checked the forum on my phone and now I'm on here and lots has dissappeared and now I'm don't know what to beleive but I'm excited!!!

A friend of mine has recently started working at Thorpe and, whilst I know we should take anything employees say or have been told with a pinch of salt, he says that there are lots of clues for WC16 in the Big Top.
I just wondered if there is any truth in this and if so have any been spotted yet? -
"Our revelations – particularly the fact that staff are able to perform manual overrides at all – will raise disturbing questions about the safety features on the Smiler and other rides."
Well thank god the Daily Mail is taking the time to investigate these matters! What would we do without them?!

After reading through Merlin's report on The Smiler incident and their reaction I found this snippet to be pretty interesting...
Either they originally intended to start marketing the ride sooner, or Merlin are just cruel. This has to be one of the most painful ride constructions in the UK in a looong time. We literally still know nothing, and yet there is a gigantic construction site right under our nose.
where can I read this report please?

This makes me, so, so happy!! looks so much better now!!!

good to know! thank you!

question, do they drain the water from this ride everyday? This morning it was closed with very little water in it....was just wondering.

I went in the maze today and thanks to our amazing guide had a great time! All the effects seemed to be working, she joked and interacted with everyone in the group, made it her mission to scare everyone as many times as she could, and explained everything really well. (but the question tank thing is so, so lame!)
Only thing I have to ask is why, oh, why did someone think it was a good idea to have an attraction that allows 10 people in every 10 minutes!?
When we joined, the sign at the start of the queue said 15 but after about 5 minutes in the queue were told it had gone up to 40! (kudos to the staff actually telling those already in the queue this information though). In the end I think we waited close to an hour on a day where other queue times for rides such a Stealth peaked at 15/20 minutes.

I think the plan is to offer it as an option to those who ask about SAW The Maze during the year.
